Most satisfying household task?

So many people on the least favourite thread have said they hate hanging out wet washing, but I find that the most satisfying 😂 It totally brings out my inner 1950s housewife to see washing flapping on the line (actual proper washing line rather than a whirly), then bringing it in and it smelling all fresh and of outdoors.
We won”t speak of what needs to happen to it thereafter!

Whats your most satisfying household job?

Dusting something exceptionally filthy and dusty with the hoover attachment.

Properly cleaning out the fridge; removing all the shelves, crisper drawer, egg holders, the lot.

No idea where it comes from, and I invariably flood the kitchen floor in the process, but it is SO satisfying when done, love it.

Opening my front door on the day the cleaner has been.

Pulling hair out of the plughole in the bath!

Cutting the grass

I like cleaning the plug hole 🤣 and pulling the cooker out to clean behind it there.

My faves are deep cleaning the bedding, ie washing the matress and pillow protectors as well as the normal sheets, and spraying the taps with Viakil.

I can't think of one as I hate them all.
Maybe gardening, if that counts.

I like having a line full of washing flapping in the wind.
But the most satisfying is seeing my hall floor shining after it’s washed.

I hate housework but love pegging washing out to dry in the sun. The machine does the washing, the weather does the drying and I can't remember where the iron lives anymore. What's not to like?
Oh and extra smugness points if I can hear next doors tumble dryer while I'm pegging it out.
