Where are all the courgettes?

Has anyone noticed that there is a distinct lack of courgettes at the moment?

I'm drowning in them. The family are completely fed up. And they're on the menu again tonight.

No. There are plenty here.

I couldn’t find any on Friday

None in the Tesco near me yesterday.

Nope, there’s three in my veg box.

They’re with the frozen peppers

On the menu last night. Eating up tonight.

So many gaps in the shelves when I went shopping yesterday. Honestly felt like the end of days.

We couldn’t get any last week either I just assumed out of season

Definitely still in season, my dad and sister have loads on their allotments!

This is what I don’t get. Normally you can’t give them away this time of year. Ocado didn’t have any, not even expensive organic one. Just popped into Aldi which was also out.

They've done terribly on allotments around me - East Midlands.

Plenty here, but no swedes!

We seem to have a cauliflower shortage in Greater Manchester.

No I couldn’t get any on Ocado. Annoying, I wanted to make my favourite courgette pasta. Maybe something to do with the drought after summer?

There are loads around my way - we've got Asda, Aldi, Lidl and Sainsbury's round here, and they all sell them.

South West and thankfully none in the shops near me. Hopefully they have been wiped out.

After hearing the soggy little bastards can poison you I happily avoid them.

None around here either (North West) but other veg is OK at the moment.

With the blueberries, flash speed mop pads and cold sore treatment!

I think we will have to get used to this. 😞
