I really struggle to keep my feet warm over winter, what do I need?!

This thread is a little old now so some of the suggestions may be out of date, but if you’ve landed here looking for warm, comfy slippers, we’ve recently updated our best women’s slippers page with lots of great options, as worn and loved by real Mumsnet users. We hope you find it useful. Flowers

Celtic &Co sheepskins bootee slippers. I get another visit every 2 years. Have great soles suitable for running to the garage etc. Fantastic.

If the budget doesn't stretch to sheepskin boots, I'm finding the fluffy slipper boots I got from FatFace (bought on sale) are doing a really good job. I've put some sheepskin insoles in that I found on ebay for about £3. My feet are toasty warm as I type - usually I have numb toes for 8 months a year. I think PPs mentioning slippers that go over the ankle are on the money for the extra warmth they generate.
