If you had to choose..

between these three things, which do you think would appeal most to you?

  1. a huge lottery win.
  2. to wake up with your idea of a perfect body and face.
  3. deep contentment and inner peace.

I think that having to choose it unfair, but hey, this genie has to work by the rules Grin
One might say that choosing No1 would lead to the others, but it generally doesn't does it? But in a way, you could definitely argue that choosing No3 could effect some interesting and very positive changes.....I am spoiled for choice.

Foronenightonly01 · 02/10/2022 00:45

A. Because b doesn’t matter to me and with A I could afford to find C 😁

Dazedandconfused10 · 02/10/2022 00:45

I can get 2 and 3 from 1. I'd have the luxury of not working to work on my body. Money to sort my face and the luxury of time from not working to achieve 3.

friedbrainrightnow · 02/10/2022 00:45

The money fixes the other two

NotaCoolMum · 02/10/2022 00:46

3- 1& 2 would bring 3.

user1477249785 · 02/10/2022 00:47

Gosh surely contentment is the most we can ask for in life? I'd rather learn to be truly happy with what I have than anything else. So 3 for me.

  1. hands down. Have no need for the others if I have 3.
BogStandard · 02/10/2022 00:48

Hmmm.... Tough choice! I'd probably go with the lottery win. I'd love the inner peace and contentment but I can't imagine how it could be possible long term. The money would give me lots of contentment, every if only in the short term.

HuckingFelll · 02/10/2022 00:49

Lottery win
Then gastric sleeve and botox etc
Feel beautiful and tell everyone to fuck off
Total life enjoyment

JennyJustJumps · 02/10/2022 00:50

A huge lottery win. Because I'm getting older and am much less vain than I used to be, and I am menopausal so have no time for people who would be interested in me for mybeauty (although I like to see a beautiful person don't get me wrong. Also deep contentment and inner peace are things that, in my opinion, need to be won through experience, not fortune. It's the journey that matters. If you don't have to go through that then it is more superficial than what I am personally aiming for in life. I know that sounds a bit daft and you could argue that about the money as well... But everyone I love and the charities I would support would benefit from the lottery win as well.

TooMuchToDoTooLittleInclination · 02/10/2022 00:51
  1. I'm sure 2 & 3 would be possible if I had 1.
I could try it out for you, if you like.
trilobiterevival · 02/10/2022 00:52

i would love a lottery win, but i dont see much evidence around me in our world that it would lead to No.3.
I can see why we'd think that, because our world creates exclusivity and an image of all being perfect if we can attain vast wealth, but considering how much money is floating around our planet, it doesn't seem to have ushered in world peace;)

it would sure as heck make life, for many, a lot less stressful and painful.

The bills need paying and inner peace and good looks does not automatically produce cash, therefore number 1, option but a secret win, to then aim for number 3 otherwise if words out about the win, it would be more stresses over the money.

floorida · 02/10/2022 00:53
  1. then you could buy 2 if inclined & try & search for 3
SpinningFloppa · 02/10/2022 00:53

1 without a doubt

HuckingFelll · 02/10/2022 00:55

This is a really good question! I'm changing my mind to 3 cause then I'll not give a shit about the money or body and just be delighted with life

Thegreymethod · 02/10/2022 00:55

Lottery win without a doubt. Anyone that says money doesn't buy happiness has never been truly skint, there aren't many (if any) problems in my life at the moment that money couldn't fix!

trilobiterevival · 02/10/2022 00:55

if someone paid me a large amount of money to meditate and do more yoga i might get close to No1, whilst also gaining traction with No3, lol.

It would benefit my kids, not just myself.

Inner peace doesn't pay for the central heating.

IsleofDen · 02/10/2022 00:57

1, because the other two options only benefit me personally and I’d rather something that benefitted everyone I love.

trilobiterevival · 02/10/2022 01:00

A few things money couldn't fix, even though I would gladly accept the euro millions jackpot:
1 loss/grief
2 traumatic memories
3 certain mental health issues
4 loneliness
5 fear of mortality and sickness
6 war
7 genetic predisposition

Money would sure help, but i disagree that it would change beauty, fitness or weight though - i think so much of that is tied up with internal stuff.

trilobiterevival · 02/10/2022 01:03

I would also stress that inner peace and deep contentment would definitely benefit those we love in ways we can't imagine. We are so hyper focused on money (naturally in our society) that we blind ourselves to what it can't fix, sometimes.

My mum had a good bit of money in her last 10 yrs on this earth, but she was devoid of No.3 due to grief. I would rather she'd been able to swap them around.

Lex Luther said it's money and power that leads to happiness.

No499 · 02/10/2022 01:55

1 - lottery win
I could buy 2 with my win, if necessary.
I have a level of 3 that I'm happy with.
