... and nap etc if still napping? Interested for comparison as we've had some difficulty with ours going down recently.

Ours is 2years 3 months and has bath at 7.15 followed by into bed around 7.40 but awake till 8.15ish protesting.
Nap is usually around 12.30-1.30.

Nap 12:30-2:30pm (generally, sometimes sleeps longer, or goes down earlier or later, quite flexible).

Bath at 6:30pm, in bed by 7pm, generally goes straight to sleep.

But always loved her sleep!

maybabymama · 29/09/2022 20:32

My daughter is 16 months but she goes to bed at 7pm. She's been going at that time ever since she was a baby. I hope it stays that way Grin

cavia · 29/09/2022 20:34

Nap 1130-130 (ish) and bed 8ish but she dsnt sleep thru at 20m if that helps

Mine is 2.5, he has an hour in the afternoon (usually 1:00 - 200) then bed as soon as In the Night Garden finishes and asleep by 7:30, wakes at 7am.

Bootsandcat · 29/09/2022 20:36

Nap between 12.30 and 2, go to bed at 9. Doesn’t get up till about 7.30

SudocremOnEverything · 29/09/2022 20:36

Mine goes at 8. There’s an early afternoon nap of c. 1.5-2.5 hours too. Actually timing varies a bit.

MissisBee · 29/09/2022 20:40

Mine is 2¼. She dropped her nap at home over the summer, but has now started nursery 2 days a week and has a nap there around 12-1.30. Much resistance at bedtime (but not as much as before the regular nap was dropped), she's usually asleep around 8ish, up again 7ish. She'll wake once at night more often than not. If she's not well, she can wake multiple times.

AliceTheCamelHasFiveHumps · 29/09/2022 20:41

DD 2y9m
No nap.
Asleep by 6pm, wakes 6:45-7:30am.

Brieeeeeeeee · 29/09/2022 20:42

Mine is 2.5 and was in bed by 7 at 2y. We’re just starting to extend it to 7.30 now, on days when he still naps.

usually wakes 6am so gets a solid 11 hours most nights.

Brieeeeeeeee · 29/09/2022 20:44

Oh and nap can be any time, as early as 10.30 am if we’ve been swimming or very active at the playground 😂 any time up to 2pm is permitted, and about 60-90 mins is normal.

JSDLS · 29/09/2022 20:48

I’d love a child like this. My LO, whether she had her two hour nap or not, would not sleep until 10.30pm. She’s now 3 and can get up at 6am, have no nap and still need the 10.30 bed time

WelshNerd · 29/09/2022 20:49

Hasn't napped since they turned 2, now nearly 3 and usually asleep between 6.30-7pm.

confusedlots · 29/09/2022 20:56

Mine have always had a 7pm bedtime since they were a few months old and getting into more of a routine. They're 4 and 6 now and we're usually just starting to get ready for bed at 7pm, it can be 7:15 or 7:30 before they are in bed.

GrowOneStrawberry · 29/09/2022 21:02

Not napped since 18m, unless a long car journey. Now 2yr8m
I try to keep awake until 7. But normally by 6.20 there's no hope and asking for bed. So milk teeth bed by generally 6 30pm sleeps until 7.30 on school days or 8 30 if dh here to take others to school so I don't need to disturb dc.

NewbietoSE3 · 29/09/2022 21:03

I should have also asked about the wake up time of course, as it's relative!

What time does your 2 year old go to bed and wake up in the morning?

Mine is awake at around 6.30am so only about 10.5 hrs sleep max at night. Used to be longer.

WandaVon · 29/09/2022 21:10

21 months.
No nap - dropped at 18 months.
Generally sleeps 7-7.

Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow · 29/09/2022 21:14

23 months. Nap is 1.30-3. Into bed 7.15/7.30 but will chat to herself until 8 or later. Wakes up at 6.30/7.

Mummummummyyyy · 29/09/2022 21:19

Mine is 2 years 3 months too. Wakes at 7.15am, nap 11am-12.30pm give or take half an hour, bed about 8-8.30pm. I’d like an earlier bedtime
but I enjoy the nap time peace!

britneyisfree · 29/09/2022 21:21

6pm when she doesn't nap. Up at 6 but I'm enjoying having time to relax in the evenings.

Later when she does nap, say around 8/8.30.

LIC1985 · 29/09/2022 21:21

Mine is just 2
Nap 12-1.30-2ish
Bedtime anytime between 6.15 and 6.45 .

Usually wakes up between 6.30am and 7am ish .

Cactuslove · 29/09/2022 21:21

I have a nearly 2 yr old and a 4 yr old. 4 yr old doesn't nap. 2 yr old naps for 2 hrs at 10am with a 8oz bottle between eating breakfast and lunch. Greedy little thing. Playing all afternoon, then dinner once 4 yr old is back from school. He then has a book read, teeth cleaned and is in bed at 6pm with another 8oz bottle until around 6.30am. 4 yr old is in bed at 6.30am until around 6am. I'm on my own with them and I'm super strict with the routine we have as it seems to work and means I get time to have my tea and work etc in the evening. Baths are 3 x weekly for both- sometimes showers In-between for older one.

snoodles · 29/09/2022 21:23

Mine is 2 and a few months. We cut the nap as he could t settle to sleep until 8.30. He is fine without a nap, doesn't get grumpy and seems fine so now sleep between 7/7.30. Awake on a good day, 6.45 but lately early hours due to teeth.

bogoblin · 29/09/2022 21:32

Mine is just turned 2 a couple of weeks ago. He dropped his nap completely a month or two ago - a blessing and a curse - and goes to bed at 7. He doesn't always fall asleep straight away but is usually out within the half hour. Wakes up anywhere between 7 and 8, but we have a new baby in the house so his sleep has been a bit disturbed and he sometimes wakes in the night to just sit in the dark, the little weirdo

MooseBreath · 29/09/2022 22:29

DS (2 years 4 months) naps from 12:30-2. Bath at 6:30, bed at 7:15. Sometimes he goes straight to sleep, other times he sits in bed and chats/sings/plays until he passes out. He generally wakes up around 7:30am.

rewardacrosstrack · 29/09/2022 22:51

My 2.5 year old goes to bed at 7pm and sometimes goes to sleep straight away, sometimes sings/plays in bed for 30 minutes before dropping off. They've self settled since 8 months. Sleeps until 6:30-7am then has a 2-3 hour nap starting some time between 11:30am and 1pm depending on what we're doing. We've been lucky in that it doesn't seem to matter what time DC wakes up from their nap - even a 4pm wake up doesn't stop them sleeping at bedtime yet. Has a mega meltdown if we try to wake early from nap too, so seems to need more sleep than average. Only downside for us is they only sleep in a bed, so we're effectively nap trapped at home for a large chunk of the day. Haven't had a single pushchair nap since 6 months and DC even refused to sleep on a very delayed flight that landed in the early hours recently. Queue mega overtired tantrums for much of the journey 🙈
