How many is too many?

I'm sorting my knicker drawer. Sunday Funday... 🙄

Anyway, I have counted 57 pairs of knickers. FIFTY SEVEN!

That's not including any at OH's house, or any currently in the laundry.

I know it's a ridiculous amount (I've thrown 5, but 52 is still 7.5 weeks of undercrackers) but how utterly ridiculous is it?

How many do you have? I'd recommend counting because prior to today I'd have guesstimated 25 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣.

I must have around 50 pairs. I rarely retire any. Just add.

I think I have 18, I regularly do clear outs and replace with new pairs - I also have slowly got rid of any uncomfortable lacy pairs and now just have lovely comfortable 100% cotton ones!

No Idea how many knickers but, after yesterday's holiday clothes sort out, I do know that I own 16 sarongs. Why?

But how many do you actually wear??? I had a similar amount but realised I only ever wore the same 20 pairs.

I have no idea how many knickers I have. I can confidently announce though that I own four (4) matching socks.

I feel better! Just done that drawer, and (again, not including any at OH's) I have 19. They all fit - I just checked.

I bought two last week. I bought a new strapless one for my last holiday. Found one I must have already had under the rest. Dammit.

I probably rotate the same four. I'm putting myself on a ban.

Probably 20 day to day.

Then "fancy" ones less frequently.

I'd say 30 max. I've now stacked them in standard and fancy to allow for stock rotation. 🤣🤣🤣

Right ! This has prompted me to sort out my knickers drawer.

I only have a handful of pairs. They are old and very scruffy but i am autistic and can't find anything that fits and feels at all similar.

Probably 20 pairs, plus period pants. Due to my clothes app I did discover I own 16 cardigans! I thought I had about 6. Apart from 2 all are black.

God knows. I only wear about two or three of them.

Yep! But they're all in good condition so I can't justify throwing them, and I can't donate them.

Before today I would have said the same but by the time I'd emptied the drawer and folded them, the piles were so big I felt the urge to know how bad it was.

The counting was secondary - the main driver was not being able to shut the drawer! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I take old knickers on holiday and throw as I go.

I refuse to count because I need to be at work in the morning. I reckon I have about 40 ish solitary knickers (for bed) plus the two matching pairs per bra. There must be about 25 bras therefore an additional 50 pairs to add to the 40.
