Where do you buy your candles?

I love candles and like to light a few of the same scents at the same time around the house. I end up getting through them quite quickly, and so im looking for reasonably priced candles.

I currently use Lily Flame, but wondering if any has any recommendations. I go through stages of loving cosy, sweet, autumny smells, and then also fresh and floral.

Thanks!

A really nice little business that I found in York called Freckleface, lovely scents & natural ingredients. They do mail order, loads of lovely fragrances.

Wickford & Co at ASDA.

I buy wax melts from TheLittleWaxBoxCo.

Tiny family run business but the scents are amazing and the customer service is fab. The bars are only £3 each too.

HyggeLykke · 25/09/2022 15:49

I like the St Ives ones, especially the Christmassy ones in the nice tins.

Howeverdoyouneedme · 25/09/2022 15:49

St Eval

I buy Olapip. www.olapip.co.uk

Theyre based near me & are a small business but do postal delivery. They're amazing. I wouldn't buy anything else now.

The autumn & winter range especially is gorgeous

Loveinacandle · 25/09/2022 16:24

I by mine from a lovely small business called Rose & Herb. Great smells and long lasting! www.roseandherb.co.uk

Allschoolsareartschools · 25/09/2022 16:49

Oooh yes, StEval are lovely too, gorgeous fragrances & really long lasting. Unusual fragChristmas ones are so nice!

Allschoolsareartschools · 25/09/2022 16:50

Unusual fragrances like thyme & mint!

I burn a lot of candles so primarily use IKEA and TK Maxx as otherwise it would be £££. For spending a bit more I do like Yankee Candle but only on sale but my favourite are from St Eval.

wickhamscandles.co.uk
Small company based in Norfolk. I’ve bought loads of his candles in the past and they’re gorgeous. They’re very reasonably priced, have a good ‘throw’ and the scent lasts to the end of the candle. I have nothing to do with this company, am just happy to recommend a great product.

needthiswilderness · 25/09/2022 17:36

St eval and diptyque. Muji for cheap.

Popaholic · 25/09/2022 17:36

Have you tried putting a pinch of salt in the melted wax? Should make them last longer!!

RightOnTheEdge · 25/09/2022 17:38

I buy from Yorkshire Rose Candles a local business. They smell gorgeous and they look really nice too.
I also really like Lilly-flame.

CactiQueen · 25/09/2022 17:41

www.thebotanicalcandleco.co.uk/ do some lovely scents. I was lured in by their Christmas candles last year. The fig is a fave of mine at the moment

peaceandove · 25/09/2022 18:37

Melt do excellent candles that actually smell whilst burning. I have tried Jo Malone but these are better.

AlwaysFoldingWashing · 25/09/2022 18:43

I love the DW ones in TK Maxx

HyggeLykke · 26/09/2022 07:22

I've just realised my typo and it should say St Eval not St Ives 😂

Sparkletastic · 26/09/2022 07:24

Shearer candles via Amazon are very good. I don't mind the occasional cheap thrill from Aldi too.
