Where do you buy your candles?

I love candles and like to light a few of the same scents at the same time around the house. I end up getting through them quite quickly, and so im looking for reasonably priced candles.

I currently use Lily Flame, but wondering if any has any recommendations. I go through stages of loving cosy, sweet, autumny smells, and then also fresh and floral.

Thanks!

DW from Homesense or TKmaxx. Aldi aren't bad when you can get them especially No1 Lime, Basil and Mandarin.

Thanks- bought some gorgeous DW candles in homesense last night. I haven't had them before and they're lovely

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT smell the 'Mac n cheese' candle at TK Maxx, part of the DW range.

It smelt like vomit and my daughter & I honestly felt like we were going to be sick 😑

St eval and diptyque. Muji for cheap.

How do St Eval compare to Diptyque? I barely bother with candles now as they are all so crap and unsmelly compared to the Diptyque ones I have tried (but cant afford!) but everyone raves about St Eval - are they as good?

Lily Flame is my go to. I love their Cut Grass for the summer. And their Christmas Spice is absolutely amazing. Such a strong cinnamon/cloves smell. Just as good as Diptique Pomander.

I HATE pumpkin candles.

I use an electric melt warmer plugged in as I find candles too sooty and worry about the soot being released into the air we're breathing in. Also no chance of them getting knocked over and setting fire to stuff. I buy Devon wick wax melts in them. Reasonable prices and smell lovely. Order them online.

Quinnel Candles. Family run business, local to me (but sell online), they are absolutely gorgeous!

The White Company and Druid Edinburgh. Druid's Saddle candle is gorgeous and very autumn/winter.

My favourite candle of all time was the, now sadly discontinued, Incense & Embers from Jo Malone.

@ blossomanddye for something a bit different, or Diptyque for something posh or as a gift.
