Annoying me that everyone is instantly saying METH, when Cara has a diagnosis of DCD and ADHD. Her erratic behaviour could be the result of either of these.

Whatever the cause I hope she is ok.

I thought of Whitney and Amy as soon as I saw this. What a horrible place to be in. I home her family have intervened.

AllThingsServeTheBeam · 16/09/2022 21:24

It's 100% not coke or fet. This is ice or crack. She's not well and I hope she gets the right people to intervene

Sonnex · 16/09/2022 21:27

Serious Amy Winehouse vibes. Her mother was a heroin addict for much of her life and allegedly while pregnant with Cara so with the ADHD she has a massive propensity for addiction. That's the serious kind of tweaking you get from serious stimulant/meth abuse. I hope she gets into rehab before she passes away.

She's moving about exactly like my teenage son does (same "disorders") when he's stressed. He is 100% not on any drugs.

Obviously there is a high possibility that it's drugs, but I just wanted to highlight the fact that sometimes this type of behaviour can be normal for a neurodivergent person.

Presumably he isn't photographed holding a pipe though?

Poor woman needs help asap before it's too late. Her mum was a heroin addict for years too, she will hopefully do an intervention.

Mosso · 16/09/2022 23:05

Definitely not Ket.

That's crack or meth

Well she's managed to become a successful actress and model with adhd and dcd, but she's now behaving erratically (this isn't a one off) - she's self medicating with something, and the paparazzi are waiting to capture it all for a reason...they can tell when a celeb is off the rails and they're likely to get some juicy pics.

Exactly, the paparazzi are often tipped off by people in the know, that's how they just happen to be in the right place at the right time.

NCHammer2022 · 17/09/2022 10:38

The way she’s moving looks like drugs.

why not just be honest and write ‘I fancied a good old gossip about this clearly troubled woman’?

Quite.

Luredbyapomegranate · 17/09/2022 10:40

legophoenix · 16/09/2022 19:59

Because that wasn't the purpose of the post. It was to highlight that the woman is neurodivergent and that may influence unusual behaviour.

It’s pretty obvious she also has a substance abuse problem. Come on.

MarshaBradyo · 17/09/2022 10:42

I agree with pp who say it’s fairly obvious it’s drug use, looks tough to break, hopefully she will

TheVolturi · 17/09/2022 10:48

How can people see someone like this and not help? Like urgently? She's going to die if she's not helped asap.

DuckTails · 17/09/2022 10:48

She’s had welts on her legs for a while that definitely point to meth or worse. As pp said Cara’s mum was addicted to heroin and was in and out of rehab throughout Cara’s childhood so sadly this isn’t a massive surprise. There was also that time early in her career she dropped a bag of white powder while going home after a night out.

DuckTails · 17/09/2022 10:49

And to whoever was complaining about press intrusion, if only you knew the lengths the Delevingnes went to to get press about their daughters before they were famous.

I imagine people close to her have tried to help, but you can only help those who help themselves. If she denies she has a problem they'll get nowhere.

Midlifemusings · 17/09/2022 11:24

Cara has struggled with addiction for many years and it is clear that she is again having significant issues. Her mother has bipolar disorder and was a heroin addict for much of her childhood - so on top of ADHD and DCD, she has a lot of trauma and her own mental health and addiction issue.

Cara has had ADHD and DCD all her life - this is a very distinct change from how she presents when well and sober. She clearly continues to struggle with addiction and hopefully gets the help she needs before it is too late.

Harrystylestutu · 17/09/2022 11:57

@DuckTails wasn't her grandfather or great grandfather high up in conde naste and the daily mail?

That’s right, and her godmother was Joan Collins, but there are dozens of pretty young socialites with decent family connections who are desperate for press attention. It started with Poppy who wanted to be an actress and their father would hound the newspapers’ social diaries asking them to cover first Poppy and then Cara. Of course once Cara’s career exploded (fair play, I always thought she had the perfect face for modelling) they suddenly detested the press.

GobbolinoTheWitchesCat · 17/09/2022 12:19

Those of you who are saying she's clearly on meth/ice/crack/ket...how can you tell?

Am completely ignorant of drugs so curious why you're so sure it's one of those drugs?

The jerky, weird movements.

Harrystylestutu · 17/09/2022 12:30

Would she be high with the movements or on a comedown?

WhileMyGuitarGentlyWeeps · 17/09/2022 12:44

Blimey she doesn't look great. Hope she will be OK. Flowers

bloodyplanes · 17/09/2022 12:25

The jerky, weird movements.

But presumably any drugs could lead to that? Why meth or crack specifically?

HRTQueen · 17/09/2022 13:09

Lots of people use drugs because they love the feeling drugs gives them not because they want to escape but just because it feels good

this might then develop into a need to use to cope with situations or might be a bit of both

Do you think families of drug addicts don't help and that's why they die?

Sadly from bitter experience.
