Why is no one on here talking about that Prince Andrew video?

Or have I missed it? Maybe it’s being discussed in code to prevent the thread from being axed?

the one of him and Eugenie looking at the flowers and tributes - looks like it’s from the Aussie 7news channel…

FFS PEOPLE!!!

OK everyone going back and forth over which video everyone's seen, these are the two I have seen:

1: what I saw live on TV

www.newsweek.com/prince-andrew-interaction-princess-eugenie-raises-eyebrows-online-1741984

2: clearly doctored

twitter.com/RaggedTP/status/1569100584564695042

You can see that the second has been doctored. You can draw your own conclusions as to if 1) is bad enough but I personally agree with the posters saying he was comforting her, then bent down and assumed she was bending down too to look at the flowers but then when she didn't and he realised where his hand was he moved it.

He's done many bad things but I don't believe groping his daughter in front of the world's media is one of them 🙄🙄

If you slow it down yourself from 1 you get 2. I don’t think it has been doctored.

ShepherdMoons · 12/09/2022 23:09

It's not been doctored.

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 12/09/2022 23:10

They look the same to me

i don't even think it was a case of realising where his hand was and moving it. I think it's just the action of his arm moving from round her waist from when he was comforting her to where it had to be when he was crouched down. It had to get from waist to l down and free" and that route was down and across her back and bottom.

i bet many people have brushed against other people - I remember a poster saying how she'd accidentally cupped her boss's penis/balls and she wasn't alone with her accidental touching story either.

Slowing it down to the point that it looks as though he kept his hand there for far longer than he did, so that it looked deliberate, IS doctoring it.

ShepherdMoons · 12/09/2022 23:15

do you ever wonder why you're defending such a sleazy, evil man?

cactusjackie · 13/09/2022 07:58

@ShepherdMoons the fact that he's evil and sleazy doesn't change the facts of the video in question. I think the posters continually using it phrase 'fingering her crack' have a pretty sleazy mind too. It's a disgusting and triggering thread based on absolute nonsense. People can question this incident without defending his previous behaviour, it's not mutually exclusive. Just because you've got the sense to realise what this video was, doesn't make you a fan of the man.

lemmein · 13/09/2022 08:00

Notplayingball · 12/09/2022 21:50

We don't talk about Andrew, no no. We don't talk about Andrew🤫

😆😆😁

lemmein · 13/09/2022 08:06

Ahhh another thread full of 'I'm not a fan of Prince Andrew but [insert excuse here]' - so fucking predictable 🙄

Let's start a thread on how 'controlling Meghan' held her husbands hand for 5 seconds too long instead!

LizzieSiddal · 13/09/2022 08:09

Having watched both of those videos, the second one has been clearly doctored. I can’t stand PA, he’s deserves to be in prison, but ffs can you imagine that poor young women has just lost her granny and people are now saying her dad had sexually assaulted her inform of millions of people.

LizzieSiddal · 13/09/2022 08:10

do you ever wonder why you're defending such a sleazy, evil man? Because on this occasion, which the thread is about, the “evidence” has very clearly been doctored!

Just because he"s guilty of one thing does not make him guilty of another.

Pretending he did something which he obviously didn’t do just makes it easier for people to dismiss the real allegations against him. It’s nothing to do with supporting Andrew.

PAFMO · 13/09/2022 08:20

Nobody has defended PA for his past, and proven actions.

The right side viewpoint Twitter video is not only slowed down to make it look like a grope, but when his hand reaches the bottom of the jacket someone has blurred the film using a filter and slowed even further then added white blurring making it look like what that foul poster upthread insinuated.

BeatriceDalle · 13/09/2022 08:21

AgnestaVipers · 12/09/2022 22:00

This is horrible. Those poor girls - all recoiling from him and looking so uncomfortable. I feel so sorry for them.

IrisVersicolor · 12/09/2022 23:08

Why do you think the second video has been blurred?
You'd imagine, wouldn't you, if people had actually got a video of PA doing what's being insinuated, they wouldn't blur out the actual action, but take pains to show it fully, and clearly.
Unless of course...
And thankfully, the unblurred video also exists.

Quite.

Elfsumflowerpig · 13/09/2022 08:37

I completely agree. This happened. Please stop defending him.

Agree. I wonder.

FreddyHG · 13/09/2022 08:42

Neither am I PA's biggest fan but I really can't see what he did wrong here. If that is sexual assault according to many on here then it really shows too much is classified as that. The biden clips were much worse.

These are the same video but the slow mo one looks bad, because it's slow mo.

The top video you can clearly see when he gets his hand to the bottom of her jacket his fingers turn in slightly before he moves his hand.

I am stunned at the amount of people defending his behaviour. It's true what they say about hiding in plain sight, isn't it? So many of you can't see it when it's right there in front of you.

FreddyHG · 13/09/2022 08:44

We have to be very careful about crying wolf here otherwise it makes actual cases of sexual assault look unbelievable.

WarmChocolateFudgeCake · 13/09/2022 09:03

I don't like PA and I believe he just paid that American woman off as he was guilty. However, making out that he has touched his daughter up is completely ridiculous, I watched the video and he's just not taken his arm away and crouched down to read something. I don't like that man, I think he's awful for what he did to that young girl, but watching the footage he absolutely did not intentionally touch his daughter how people are making out.

SoupDragon · 13/09/2022 09:14

so many of you making it up when it's not there.

No-one with half a brain thinks slowmo action scenario takes longer than it does. Does anyone say that about World Cup goals? The purpose of slowmo is to see action that happened too fast in real time for the eye to catch.
