Why is no one on here talking about that Prince Andrew video?

All this talk of him 'fingering her arse' is really disgusting and uncomfortable. It's definitely not a true reflection of what happened in that video. His hand brushed her arse as he bent down to the floor. Unfortunate yes, abuse no.

The man is a slimeball but this is nothing. And I can't imagine it's very pleasant for the princess to see all this tripe online about her dad apparently assaulting her while she's mourning her gran.

Looks to me like he's not meant to touch her bum it's just that he's bending down possibly a bit wobbly and as soon as he realises where it's got to he moves his hand away.

I'm no Andrew fan but I think everyone's lost the plot here.

It just looks like he bent down and his hand that was on her back just naturally slid down too. I'm no fan of Prince Andrew but it seems unlikely a) he would do it in front of the world's media and b) his daughter wouldn't react in any way if it had been inappropriate. Prior to that they seemed to be having a pretty normal father/daughter interaction 🤷‍♀️ If it hadn't been Andrew, who let's face it everyone is hyper aware of (understandably so), I doubt anyone would think anything of it.

You are nuts and ridiculous. In longer clips you can see she was hugging him and then when he bent down his hand slipped down her back. Its been slowed down to try and make it look scandalous.
People should be really ashamed of themselves trying to make a father comforting his daughter so evil.

I'm a fervent republican and hate Andrew with a passion but I saw this when it was being shown live and it was simply a case of him having an arm around his daughter while standing, and then he decided to bend down to look at more flowers, and I think he had expected her to kneel down with him and she didn't, so he still had his arm around her and then couldn't disengage in time to avoid touching her bum. It was just a bit of an awkward position fail rather than an intentional touching up of his child. I cringed watching it because I thought - everyone is going to be all over this - because it looks awful, but the reality is it was just an awkward miscalculation rather than anything intentional. I mean there were cameras everywhere. Even he's not that stupid.

I agree, and I say that as someone who can’t stand him. I find the prurient way that people are looking for something that’s obviously not there really distasteful tbh- makes light of the things which he is actually alleged to have done.

I think that’s why there’s such a difference of opinion. It depends on which video you have seen.
