My brother said they were told early, doesn’t make sense?

I saw some of her video. I'm sure she was just summising from what we had all seen on the news. I don't think she had any early insider information

QuebecBagnet · 12/09/2022 22:45

Well I think the bone cancer sounds like either insider knowledge or a load of rubbish. But certainly not something we’d have picked up on from the news.

Zonder · 12/09/2022 23:08

The bone cancer bit yes, but she was announcing at 2 something pm that the Queen had died and I'm sure that's just her putting 2 and 2 together rather than having insider information.

antelopevalley · 12/09/2022 23:11

The foreign press have been saying bone cancer for some time.

User642986540 · 12/09/2022 23:54

It's not unusual to have got cancer by that age though, apparently 1 in 2 are diagnosed in their lifetime, that seems very high

Thatladdo · 12/09/2022 22:11

Lady Colin Campbell released a video on youtube an hour and a half before(4pm) the news was officialy released saying she died of bone cancer and it was "relatively painless" , as far as i can see she deleted this now. rightly so.

LCC isn’t Royal in any way, shape or form. She had a very brief marriage to the son of the notorious Duchess of Argyle and is a nasty gossip.

MrsMacnair · 13/09/2022 00:28

That Lady C C Video is still on YT. Watched it after Emmelina mentioned upthread.

After not knowing anything about this woman I googled her, it seems that everything she spouts regarding the Royal Family, is nothing more than hearsay and gossip.

Not a credible source at all.

I suspect they get that from Lady CC. The sector of the foreign press that likes publishing sensationalist sleb and aristocracy stories doesn't bother with fact checkers, either.

User642986540 · 13/09/2022 08:35

Lady CC was on I'm a celebrity get me out of here iirc.

antelopevalley · 13/09/2022 09:52

Nicholas Witchell implied it was cancer as well.

antelopevalley · 13/09/2022 09:55

I have no idea if it was.
Certainly plenty of very old people when they die do have cancer, even if it is not cancer that killed them.
But I think it was clear that whatever killed her, she had been very ill for some time.

RedToothBrush · 29/09/2022 15:50

WELL her death certificate says she died at 3.10pm. Of old age.

Now either they are lying on an official document or thats the truth.

Personally I think she probably did die at 3.10pm as that fits with everything that happens and it does explain the mad dash to Balmoral, which was unfortunately too late and isn't fully explained if she had already died.

As for the cause of death, I am slightly more skeptical as she was clearly ill with other issues, but there isn't much reason to conceal this. And at 96, its a reasonable cause of death.

It certainly puts to bed the idea that civil servants were some how in the know at lunchtime, as a massive conspiracy story. She was clearly very unwell by lunchtime and not expected to live long so things had to swing into motion.

3.10pm would certainly explain just missing the 6pm slot that had long been planned as the formal time of the announcement.

Zonder · 29/09/2022 19:11

I agree with you @RedToothBrush - it makes more sense than her dying the Friday before as someone said!

Fullsomefrenchie · 29/09/2022 19:28

It’s very sad, she died twelve hours earlier and old age is just more hiding what she actually died of.

Lady C confuses me, I hadn’t heard of her before seeing her mentioned on here about 6 months ago, and have since watched some of her YouTube videos (at 2x playback speed, because she talks soooo slowly).

I know she’s a terrible gossip, but she must have some sort of inside info surely?
I know a lot of what she says can’t be proven, but I’m just interested if she has had things demonstrably disproven iyswim.

Her dislike of certain people is well known, much of it is just her spouting her many opinions, but she seems a funny one, as some of what she says does seem to come to light at times.

I guess I’m just asking whether to take what she says with a huge dose of salt, as she’s obviously very biased, or whether to just disregard completely

Did your next door neighbour's dog tell you that? High up in the police?

jennakong · 02/10/2022 12:58

9th Sept - 'my very important husband knew for a fact that she was dead from 2.00!'
29 Sept - death certificate released.
01 Oct- 'my very important husband knows for a fact that the death certificate has been falsified!'

Why on earth would they need to hide either of those things. George V was euthanised so the announcement was in the morning papers.

I quite believe they held back on the announcement to the public for various reasons. And perhaps for privacy reasons further underlying causes have been removed. And maybe rightly so even the Monarch is allowed some privacy when it comes to these things

But so what? She was 96 what on earth could be so controversial?

Hearthnhome · 02/10/2022 13:09

I am guessing that poster also believes that Liz Truss had someome throw a grenade at queens car, which exploded and bruised the queens hand. Which some knob head posted here this morning. 🙄🙄

That said, that person also though King Charles only became King 12 hours after she died giving Liz truss 12 hours as head of state so she could poison the water

Yeah the water troll. Used to be a covid troll. And a school troll.

my ex husband is a conspiracy theorist. Unfortunately my adult dd has had similar rantings from him. Which is why I don’t find people who wail ridiculous claims funny.
