Bloody Tesco grocery delivery cancelled!

Yes me too.
Apparently due to technical issues.
I'm really not happy as a disabled single parent I rely on these deliveries and because I'm on midweek saver can't book till next Tuesday. Tesco are not very accommadating /sympathetic and just state that I can rebook at my convenience.

I've got one booked for tomorrow night and I'm hoping it doesn't get cancelled because I'm having surgery on Tuesday and need the delivery as I'll be isolating from Saturday and then recovering for a couple of weeks afterwards.

My Asda order didn’t come yesterday and the only explanation is that it’s delayed. No update this morning, their tracker is working apparently.
I’ve checked my bank account and it’s paid for 😠

I work there and the whole system is down literally nothing anyone can do if the system crashes we can’t print labels to pick or even access the computer to get details to let customers know

Mine was cancelled, I got a refund, and then it turned up randomly several hours earlier than it was meant to! So at the moment I have a free shop…I guess they’ll notice at some point?! So weird.

Mine was booked for 7-8pm and cancelled at 3. I tried phoning and got cut off after 10 minutes so I sent a message on Messenger - no answer as yet - asking about compensation as I pay for Delivery Saver expecting to actually get a delivery! There were no slots for tomorrow for delivery so I’ve booked a click and collect and I’m hoping that doesn’t get cancelled as well. We’ve got nothing in for breakfast so I baked some bread rather than go back out in the rain.

Believe it or not Tesco are not amune to technical issues, they process hundreds of thousands of online orders everyday all over the UK, but as with everything else you only ever hear about something that has gone wrong, pickers, drivers and admin rely solely on data, if that goes down what are they supposed to do?

Yep, me too. Cancellation email five minutes before the end of the delivery slot. No apology or explanation. Just a shrug and 'we are not able to fulfil your order'.

I appreciate things go wrong, but it's how companies deal with that that defines them. Today has been more than a little shabby.

Yes, our computer system crashed for the second time today.

Some orders were already picked like my customers so they got theirs today. But many were affected and didn't get theirs, unfortunately.

I wonder if their banking system is down too. I was using their automated phone bank system to make a payment to my Tesco credit card using my TSB debit card and it was declined. I spoke to one of their agents who said it had been declined but there's nothing wrong with my TSB account.

Well I got an email saying my click & collect had been cancelled however I was at work and didn't see the message and in the meantime my dp had finished work and gone along to the click&collect and picked it up!

Mine was cancelled but I never got an email. Rang to ask where the shopping was and was told all orders were cancelled today due to a tech glitch. Lucky I've got the basics in and rescheduled for Saturday evening. First time I've had any issue with Tesco in 10 years.
