What is this mark?!

Just pulled an old laptop out of the loft storage and there's a mark on it in the dust that is freaking me out. I know what I think I look like but I'm hoping someone can tell me it isn't what I think it is! I sleep right next the the damn wall where the storage is!

I'm deliberately not saying because I don't want to influence people.

Was thinking squirrel tbh because there's loads of them around here. I just have no idea how it could have got in/out. 😬😬😬

Just realised it only has three toes so probably not a squirrel. Bird is most likely, right?

I've not heard anything though so I'm genuinely confused! My bed it literally two feed away from the door to the storage.

Looks like the print has a pad at the base, so it's not a bird.

What is the length and width with a tape measure?

Depending on the size of the paw print, it's either a squirrel or a mouse. You can see the fourth toe appears as a round smudge on the left indicating this toe wasn't fully placed on the surface.

It's a front paw, BTW.

I don't have a tape measure to hand unfortunately. Have my fat hand for scale 😂😂😂

Also all of you buggers saying demon or something can bugger right off 😂 My head is literally a couple of feet away from the door!

On a more serious note, I had a look in the space and can't see any gaps, though the insulation has dropped in some places so it could be hiding a portal gap.

(the white powder on the carpet isn't anything sinister, it's bicarb to freshen a spot where the cat was sick 🤢🤷🏻‍♀️)

Looks about 2 inches roughly next to your hand. Likely a squirrel front paw print.
