Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I've had a lie in & enjoyed my first cuppa in silence, watching the wood pigeons in my garden.

There's some washing to be done, and a few pots to wash, plus the floors need hoovering upstairs and mopping downstairs.

We went to Meadowhall yesterday, looking for school shoes for dd1 still so will probably skip going to the market today & just nip to Asda tomorrow for a top up of fresh fruit and salad.

I think the girls will probably spend the day watching Gilmore Girls together. I have some painting to finish for when we go back to school (updating/repairing dolls house furniture), and am half way through crocheting a Minecraft creeper for dd2 to send to her friend in the Netherlands.

We're having chicken for tea, with tornado potatoes (spiral spuds 🤣) and salad. Probably the last of last week's fruit with ice cream for desert 😋

DS1 has decreed we are being 'cosy' this morning. We are all in my bed, he has the laptop and DS2 has the ipad (poor DH has gone to get a tire changed on the car).

The boys are tired because they were at nursery/holiday club last week and then yesterday evening it was so nice and sunny I took them to the big playground with a picnic straight after instead of having dinner at home.

We need to go buy school shoes later - am dreading it :D

I had an improtu sleepover (slight brag 😁) so now I need to go into the next town and find some clothes to wear today because I only have what I had on yesterday - should be fun though I get to go shopping alone. @Camomila I do not envy school shopping at all 😖

I've had breakfast in bed and currently watching a film with DS. I have my first haircut in over 12 months this afternoon and then we've got dry up for dinner! I'll walk the dog at some point too.

I’m on annual leave and it’s my birthday today. Woke up at 6, had a couple of coffees in bed while cuddling the cat, opened my birthday cards. DD25 sang happy birthday to me.
Later on I’m meeting DD30 for a coffee and then I’ll be going into work for a fete and taking the cat with me.
Takeaway tonight for tea.

I was in Edinburgh for a few days for work last week, got back last night so have had a lie in this morning and just had a coffee in bed.

I think I want pesto eggs for breakfast but don’t think we have any bread so might need to send DP out with the dog first.

Later he’s taking his kids shoe shopping and I’m off to the football.

DP will pick up something for dinner while he’s out which I imagine will be BBQ ribs and chicken as it’s easy and both his (fussy) kids will eat it!

I’m about to go and have a soak in the bath, then I’m off into town to meet my friend for lunch. Will have a wander round the shops then back home to potter about, not sure what’s for dinner yet, I’ll ask DD what she fancies when she eventually gets up (teenager)!

Our flat is more hovel than home, so cleaning and tidying today. Our daughter has finally outgrown 3-6 months clothes, so we’re getting her bigger bits washed and sorted and washing the smaller stuff.

I’m taking my son to the jurassic park exhibition later.

Its my husbands 30th this weekend, hes out with some friends tonight to celebrate that.

I’m having a lie-in and then doing some cleaning. DH has gone to watch football. We are TTC so that’s what we’re doing later!

This is this mornings to do list. I have to put times in otherwise I get distracted. It hasn't worked today and I got distracted anyway which is why I'm running behind and doing everything in the wrong order

We're having pesto pasta with leftover chicken and some salad for lunch.

Once DP has finished work we're packing up and going to wales for a few nights.

Coffee and porridge for breakfast whilst watching Gardeners World. Just cleaned the bedroom and put the sheets on to wash. I'm waiting for the machine to finish in about 10 minutes so I can hang out to dry before heading off for a mooch around town. I need to pick up a load of sugar to preserve the loads of fruits I've foraged over the past couple of days. Plums, apples, damsons and pears need prepping and making into chutneys or jams. Later we're having duck legs with some of the plums in a sauce with some kale.

I am going to spend the day at a pagan camp in a wood a mile from my house.
There will be a firepit cookout, drumming, workshops, music and so forth.
I am giving a talk and then the rest of the day will be lolling about with friends.
Last night the skies were clear and the stars were beautiful, framed by trees. I enjoyed sitting round the fire drinking and talking, with everyone's faces lit and glowing.
More of the same tonight. 😀

Still in bed, children are with their Dads until Monday so I should be up, sorting the house and getting myself organised but I'm moping. I'm having a laser thing done to my cervix tomorrow and I'm shitting myself if I'm honest.
Today I'll be hiding in bed, feeling sorry for myself.

Today's a more restful day as we have plans for the others.

I've got a loaf in the bread maker and homemade chorizo 'baked' beans ready for brunch when DH gets in.

Get some shopping in, bits we need.

After tea play a board game with DS for a bit then watch TV.

i've been baking all morning for the tea tent at the late summer fete on the village green. Mocha fudge cake and chocolate brandy truffles. Going to drop cakes off soon and have a wander around the fete.

Then...dunno. Feeling a bit aimless today. Might drag DS out for a long walk this afternoon. DH will be gardening.

Live by the sea so took a quick walk down to the beach with the dog early on, let him do some zoomies on the sand like a crazy boy then trundled home.

Lots of housework to do so got started on that but became distracted by breakfast.

Got some life admin to do later but hopefully will get to catch up with The House of The Dragon at some point and maybe enjoy a sneaky glass of red in the garden as the sun goes down!

I’ve had my ‘spring’ covid booster , walked the dog and am now watching cricket on the Tv .

Potty training! So far 2 wees in the potty and 3 on the floor, we might break even by lunchtime!
DH is baking and batch cooking, currently on flatbreads for lunch and the rest for the freezer.
The air feels a bit Autumnal here, it’s lovely

DS1 has gone out for the day with a family member so I have just ds2 home with me. I offered to take him out but he is quite happy playing indoors. I have just been doing some cleaning and having an easy morning. We don't usually have indoors days so it's quite nice really. Will go out for a walk later when DH gets home from work.

I'm not getting very far, so far, the kitchen's tidied and paint things are out but I keep wandering 🤷‍♀️ I'm about to put some washing out then I'll make a start, honest!

It's our anniversary today - I've already had two Bucks Fizz and ordered a takeaway breakfast (was crap).

Cleaned the pool (watched my husband do it) so the kids can get in it, placed some bets online with the money we had put back for the car's MOT this morning (it passed!!).

Now sat on the sofa scrolling waiting for the footie to start and then I'll go upstairs and shower etc.

Off out this afternoon for anniversary celebrations. Off to a French bistro (oooh La La!). Not a bad Saturday! 💃

Rowing with with DH in the garden . I love gardening but have a bad back so had to ask for help. We clashed.

He's now left for the day and I'm sitting inside.

Not cheerful as I'd expected.

Maybe the Notting Hill carnival tomorrow but not sure.
