Disney Plus doing Jilly Cooper's Rivals

This is just the best news. I've been waiting for an adaptation of Rivals since I first fell in love with the bounder Rupert C-B in circa 1997.

But the question is who will play him? I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who can fill those boots - any suggestions?

Omg! I will be getting Disney + specifically for this!!!! This is the first I've heard of it and I'm already excited

people who get all po faced about Jilly Cooper books make me IMMEDIATELY assume they are the absolute embodiment Hilary from Riders. No, you don’t want to re enact every scene in real life from a book that was written in the 70s but it’s of it’s time and reading it and loving it, doesn’t make you a baby eating serial killer.
