Opened up FB this morning and it's just full of people posting to celebrities pages! It's so strange! What is going on??

Yeah mine was a really random load of peoples messages they’d put on other peoples pages!

According to a few on twitter, there was some kind of update to the Facebook platform.... it was bad enough before this update, dont even know why I bother with it these days tbh

Obviously I follow them all. Weird!

My feed is full of American Truckers and Bikers' groups.

I'm not American, have never been interested in HGVs and biking, apart from watching Sons of Anarchy on Netflix a few years ago.

I have a lot of Ed Sheeran, Chris Hemsworth, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. I hope they fix it soon, it's ridiculous 😂

Yes all the messages here too but also a massive escalation in ads. I would estimate every other post is a speculative ad for a company I dont
follow eg holiday cabins, clothing brands and pain relief.
Also some posts by the ‘U.K. Government’ which I definitely didn’t receive before or ask to follow!

Same. It’s probably not ideal for the celebrity pages. I just unfollowed the page as I couldn’t see anything other than these posts. I imagine plenty of people will do the same

Mine is all Muse ,Coldplay, The Beatles and for some strange reason Adele. Also looks like the Ricky Gervaise fans have just woken up too as they've started popping up.

I initially unfollowed them all but they still keep popping up. Then realised it's a Facebook glitch.

Yes I'm seeing loads of posts to The Beatles page. Also I can see my friends "happy birthday" posts that they've sent to other people - people I'm not friends with! Very annoying.

FB feels like one of those freebie newspapers that used to be posted through your door: mostly ads and the odd snippet of interesting news.
