What would you do every day if money was no object?

just this really

I would have a big orange juicer and have freshly squeeze orange juice every day, I would become a writer, I would live in the sun and windsurf all afternoon

Early morning yoga class, swim, sauna then body massage with expensive oils

Surtsey · 23/08/2022 17:04

I'd buy up lovely period properties with massive gardens, specifically to prevent property developers from getting their hands on them, knocking the houses down, and building half a dozen monstrosities in their place.

Augend23 · 23/08/2022 17:05

I would definitely swim or at least do some form of proper exercise every day (because I would have time because I wouldn't work full time).

piscesangel · 23/08/2022 17:07

Wear a new pair of socks - nothing better!

Cutemob · 23/08/2022 17:11

Go travelling and not stop until I'd seen and done absolutely everything new to me. I'd probably never get bored of that but if I did I'd then move on to charity work physically helping out in underprivileged areas, and probably doing watersports or something creative with my spare time

sorryiasked · 23/08/2022 17:12

Swim in my private pool.

Deadringer · 23/08/2022 17:13

If money was no object I would have a chef who specialises in low fat, nutritious, delicious meals and eat fabulous food every day. I would also have my own pool and spend a lot of time exercising and swimming in it, I would have pool parties frequently too, though perhaps not every day.

carefullycourageous · 23/08/2022 17:15

Take the boat up the river

Whatwherehowwhenwho · 23/08/2022 17:18

Therapy in an attempt to cure myself of this hideous anxiety/depression & OCD.

Yoga, reflexology and, as I’ve been cutting my own hair since lockdown 01, a decent cut and then a twice weekly wash and blow dry so I look half decent for a change….anxiety allowing!

Janie94 · 23/08/2022 17:19

I would set up a cattery!

Tabbouleh · 23/08/2022 17:19

Get a daily wash and blow dry! Or at least 5 days a week

PollyPaintsFlowers · 23/08/2022 17:20

Travel

newtb · 23/08/2022 17:20

But house with a pool or install one. Hier a personal trainer.
Personal chef is a tempting idea.

RedRosie · 23/08/2022 17:23

If I wasn't also worried about the environment (which I am), I would have freshly laundered bedding every single day, and pay someone else to do it. Bliss.

Gardenoverflow · 23/08/2022 17:23

I've done enough traveling in my day. So I'd buy a house big enough to accommodate a few guests. I'd get a nanny cleaner etc so that I could study to be an occupational therapist. & I'd do research & wrote books on child development.

DogsAndGin · 23/08/2022 17:23

Yoga. Dancing. Horse riding. Walking my dog. Reading. Wine tasting. Art and antique auctions. Not too different to now really, but I’d have staff to do the cleaning, gardening, cook elaborate delicious meals, look after the horses, and help with the children 😅

I’d also get my hair blow dried and styled twice a week, and go for regular haircuts and manicures. I’d love to throw away all the clothes I own and just wear a beautiful capsule designer wardrobe. Oh and I think I’d quite like private jets to go on holidays in Europe so I could take my dog 🤣😂

Guess I’ll stick to walking my dog and reading for now. The rest is all but a dream.

notapizzaeater · 23/08/2022 17:24

Have my housekeeper put fresh clean bedding on everyday

Ooooh yes! Hotel style bedding, fresh every day. That would be bliss

HinchcliffeandMurgatroyd · 23/08/2022 17:24

Blow dry.

Id also have my own hydrotherapy pool and sauna.

DeanStockwelll · 23/08/2022 17:28

This came up in conversation with some workmates early this year.
We all knew what we would do with a chunk of cash , buy nice house , car , holiday, treat family etc .
Then when asked for a daily treat like pp Spa, chef, massage , dine out etc

Then it got flipped the daily treats became compulsory ( it was a slow shift and long day ) you have to have a spa session , massage, have a chef cook for you rather than go out for a meal or if you picked go out gor a meal you had to do that every day, no eating at home.

It was surprising how quick we thought we would get fed up with the treats.

SpinCityBlues · 23/08/2022 17:29

I would be carried around in a sedan chair all day, visiting the local library, the new museum gallery, and possibly the local council offices to buy some composting bags.

My sedan chair carriers would be dressed like The Monkees. (I would need four of them as I'm no Twiggy these days.) Every week they'd have a new costume from a different episode eg French Foreign Legion hats and jackets.

Vanderpump · 23/08/2022 17:29

Have a chef, fresh bedding , massage ,

RedRosie · 23/08/2022 17:30

@DeanStockwelll I would never get fed up with freshly laundered bedding!

excelledyourself · 23/08/2022 17:33

Have a massage at least twice a week.

Get into property development. Not for the money, just as a hobby.

I'd retrain as a jewellery designer, but again just for fun, not for income.

Assuming I now have a lovely garden, I'd spend plenty of time out there.

I'd try and do a bit of volunteering too. Something like befriending or volunteer driving.

Buying a Euromillions ticket right now, so if I can win I can do this too. I’ll invite you along, @SpinCityBlues , as it was your genius idea.
