What would you do every day if money was no object?

just this really

I would have a big orange juicer and have freshly squeeze orange juice every day, I would become a writer, I would live in the sun and windsurf all afternoon

Morning yoga. A nice walk. A nice coffee.
Bit of gardening. Cook a nice dinner and have a nice glass of wine.

converseandjeans · 23/08/2022 20:32

Swim and sauna followed by a back massage.

Never do housework again. My lovely DM has never done housework

Your mother has never done housework??

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 23/08/2022 20:37

Ask the (well paid) chef what today's healthy menu is. Eat it.

Open my wardrobe to all my clothes cleaned and put away.

Buy bunches of flowers for friends and neighbours and various people just to put a smile on their face.

wannarunfromitall · 23/08/2022 20:38

Oh Bernadette I love your one.

wannarunfromitall · 23/08/2022 20:39

I wonder what a man version of this would look like

DettyPig · 23/08/2022 20:43

I would just travel about different 5 star hotels and go shopping everyday and have fresh sushi delivered to me everyday.

Id have a shit load of surgery to remove all my fat and lift all my saggy bits.

Id have au pairs to teach my children different languages and do all the boring kid stuff I don’t want to do anymore!

I'd buy up lovely period properties with massive gardens, specifically to prevent property developers from getting their hands on them, knocking the houses down, and building half a dozen monstrosities in their place.

Love this!

GeorgeorRuth · 23/08/2022 20:46

Not work! Travel, dogs 🐕, top of my list.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 23/08/2022 20:49

Drive an electric car

KohlaParasaurus · 23/08/2022 20:55

EVERY day? I would eat a really nice dinner that I hadn't had to cook for myself, either at a restaurant or made for me at home. And then I'd spend some time on the internet researching destinations and activities for one of my endless succession of holidays.

CockSpadget · 23/08/2022 20:57

Rescue dogs, loads of dogs, all the dogs, and hire them a personal chef to cook them delicious food every day, treat them to blow dries every day, and hire someone to change their bedding every day Grin

DeanStockwelll · 24/08/2022 11:58

RedRosie · 23/08/2022 17:30

@DeanStockwelll I would never get fed up with freshly laundered bedding!

Ha ha yes I agree with that one, though after a year or so it would become normal so no longer feel like a treat.

LadyCatStark · 24/08/2022 12:03

I’d be living in Australia by the beach and I’d surf/ paddle board and ride my horse (that I don’t currently have). I’d set up a disabled riding school or a scheme where I take disabled children paddleboarding especially those in wheelchairs as I’d have a special adaptation.

Comedycook · 24/08/2022 12:15

Swim and then get a hairdresser to wash and blow dry my hair

Lightning020 · 24/08/2022 15:00

Personal trainer plus eat organic foods daily.

HRTQueen · 24/08/2022 15:10

Have a personal chef

and personal beauty therapist and hairdresser

I would work part time in my job and run a cattery

a cleaner would be nice too

HRTQueen · 24/08/2022 15:18

might as well have a personal trainer

I wouldn’t have a personal jet but would always travel first class so not creating quite as much of a carbon footprint from my very regular holidays

PomBearWithoutHerOFRS · 25/08/2022 08:36

Eat three meals.
At the moment dh and I eat once, and the (teen) dcs have one "proper meal" and one "light meal".

Goodness is there no access to any charity food sources to plug the gaps?

I am sorry if I am being very naive, this sounds very hard and I am so sorry to read this.

Swim every morning in my private heated outdoor pool. In the middle of my beautiful, private, garden. Followed by a pilates class with my favourite teacher. Have my (small, but exquisite) country house cleaned regularly. Travel between my central London studio flat and my small but exquisite country house via first class train. Go to the theatre and opera regularly., going back to said studio flat afterwards rather than rushing for the last train back to the countryside. Treat friends to theatre and opera tickets so we all have a lovely evening, perhaps preceded by a nice supper.

celticprincess · 25/08/2022 09:21

I’d buy a new house so we could have more than one toilet - an en-suite per person. Plus spare rooms - 2 to accommodate family staying. Massive garden with a gardener. Cleaner to keep on top of the house and a cook to decide and cook what we are eating. A personal shopper to sort me out clothes and a regular hair appointment. Flights to be able to visit family abroad and stay without cost worry.

BlackeyedSusan · 25/08/2022 09:46

Buy property in sea side/rural places and rent out most to locals. Use the rest as holiday let's to fund cheap rents.

Get allotments and hired help (with my disability) to grow fresh veg all year round for myself and food banks.

carameldecaflatte · 25/08/2022 16:26

When I'm not travelling the world I would be on my self-sufficient island; In the morning I would swim in my pool, then a leisurely walk around my island to eat brunch on my personal picnic bench in the middle of the woods. In the afternoon I would attend to the permaculture and pick my own fruit and veg for dinner.
