Rizzo is the most interesting character in Grease

I was just rewatching this last night. Sandy and Danny are both quite bland characters, he a bit dim but nice and trying too hard to be cool, she a pleasant clean living blonde cheerleader.
But Rizzo is more complex, putting on a hard front but really insecure and vulnerable behind it. It would have been interesting to see a spin-off exploring her story.

Her and Kenickie have always been my favourite characters. Everyone loves a bad girl! Sandy is just boring.

I agree, I think Rizzo is the only interesting character, I have never been a fan of the movie though.

I certainly don't think she's the only interesting character, but she's definitely the best: in fairness, though, she's one of the most developed. Should've got at Best Supporting nom at the very least.

Definitely my favourite character when I saw it when it came out. I think my nana was a bit horrified the Good Girl wasn't my role model. I used to be Rizzo when we 'played' Grease in the school yard at breaks & lunch. 😄

I love Rizzo. She is the best character and as a PP said, 'There are worse things I could do' is the best song.

She's in The Good Wife,it's really odd seeing her older after being so familiar with her in Grease.

Was watching it the other day and had the thought that if I could sing (I definitely can't) and was going on the X Factor or something (I definitely wouldn't) that would be my audition song! Belt it out and blow them all away

Always been my favourite and I always identified with her, and hen I got my adhd diagnosis last year I has a bit of an aha moment about our beautiful riz!

Not a patch on the machine shop woman teacher who keeps a bunch of sexist 1050s teenaged boys in check, helps them build a hot rod and goes along to the hot rod race at the risk of her job (or have Imagined all that?). Best ignore the lyrics to greased lightning though.
