I don't have the Search facility now so I don't know if this has been asked before but :

Anyone been to this ? Looks like a hologram or similar (like when Take That CGI'd Robbie in ?)

I've been to a few ABBA Tributes (more than I should admit to Blush )

I'm planning end Nov/Dec for a pre-Christmas Night Out ( myself and adult DD)

This was a handy thread I was reading yesterday. Lots of hints and tips, sounds amazing.

Ahh many thanks starling I've read through that thread .

Looks like DanceFloor tickets and I might say "to Hell With It" and book a hotel rather than drive to Stratford .

This might be the last Christmas she wants to go out with her old Mother (though she does like a good ABBA song ) Xmas Grin

I went! It's amazing - really enjoyed it and I'd go again.

The bars in the venue were good - managed to get served fairly quickly.

If on the dance floor - I'd advise standing somewhere away from the exits. Some people can't manage 90 minutes without going backwards and forwards for drinks! We got really fed up with people keep pushing past.

It finishes fairly early - 21:30. So no need to stay in Stratford! Lots of time to get out and stay somewhere much nicer!

I'm hoping to go before Christmas it looks amazing 😍

Dartmoorcheffy · 07/08/2022 23:36

My SIL went tonight and has just said it was absolutely amazing

ElephantLover · 08/08/2022 10:23

I went just last night, it was brilliant. Doesn't feel like holograms, it's really well made and looks real. The sound and lights were brilliant. The music was great and there were people from age 7 to 70 and beyond.
The dance floor was packed and looked stuffed for 90 mins. The seats were great though! I'd suggest getting the cheapest seats you can find as the view was good from all locations. Totally worth going to.

balalake · 08/08/2022 10:42

The other thread describes it very well. Just to note that you have to change trains if coming from Waterloo.

choirmumoftwo · 08/08/2022 11:04

We're going on 27th December. Cheapest seats as we also need an overnight stay and train from the north east. All the reviews have been amazing!

rose69 · 08/08/2022 11:16

It's amazing. The dance floor has good space. We were in the middle but friends who stood to the side described the abbatars as a little flat. One who went back then stood in the middle

WorriedMutha · 08/08/2022 11:22

Yup. Really enjoyed it. Early finish so no need for overnight stay. We were seated but everyone stands for the floor fillers. Great light show and though we all know they are basically avatars, too me it felt better than going to see an artist at a big stadium venue. You are really only watching them on a big screen which is inferior. At ABBA, the figures move out and over the audience. Hard to explain but better than a live concert.

dizzydizzydizzy · 08/08/2022 12:09

I went. It was absolutely fantastic. I'm going again.

chimppyjamas · 08/08/2022 12:12

I loved it but caught covid as a special souvenir

TheWoollybacksWife · 08/08/2022 20:47

My DDs went on Saturday and had a fantastic time. Do it!!

Belshels · 23/08/2022 14:02

Would absolutely love this with daughter, but the prices are crazy! Any tips on cheapest seats or where to buy? Ty

rose69 · 23/08/2022 20:00

They are advertising tickets for £50 on the website for beginning of Jan. It is an expensive production so I can see why tickets are expensive.

TitaniasAss · 23/08/2022 20:01

It's fabulous and for some reason made me really emotional!

rose69 · 23/08/2022 20:09

Seated tickets on Mondays in April are £32

Whiskers4 · 23/08/2022 20:22

We're going in October, read nothing but good reviews. Yes, half suspect we might get covid. DH already invited for his fourth jab (not sure why he's first as I qualified very early with work), but stringing it out until early Oct. We've got a Premier Hub booked as we don't mind travel afterwards or Premier Hubs.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 25/08/2022 08:30

I looked at the tickets , price coming in at about £200 (including insurace )

Booked it for our Christmas Trip Out , we can get to Stratford and walk there , I'd imagine there will be crowds so we'll be safe enough.

I've not seen a bad review of this at all - so tempted to book!

Cocolapew · 25/08/2022 09:37

Its looking like I'll have to wait until next year, I'm in NI so have to factor in the cost of flights etc 🙁

Bromley4goof · 26/12/2022 19:29

I also got Covid from it. Packed so tight I felt I knew what my fellow dance floor folks had for breakfast, couldn’t do any extravagant moves for fear of knocking someone’s specs off

Heartstopper · 26/12/2022 19:33

I've got 2 tickets (seated) for it on 14th January. I'm having second thoughts about it now as I haven't been well recently. If anyone would like to buy the tickets from me, I would consider selling them. £238 they cost me (plus some booking fees I am prepared to lose). Any offers?

Meduse · 26/12/2022 20:03

Don’t cancel your tickets-we went last week ( for an afternoon show) and honestly it was fine. The auditorium isn’t too big but the seats were spacious, air conditioning and lovely friendly stewards. We were in the dance floor and I was worried about crowding but we got in early, went to the back of the floor where there was openings up to the seats ,a steward stood there, and there was no problem going out to the toilet or bar.The show was absolutely amazing-well worth the money. The DLR at Pudding Mill Lane is opposite the entrance ( with nothing else around) and afterwards more stewards were there to let people on in groups to avoid crowds. I hope I have convinced you to go!

twilightcafe · 26/12/2022 20:14

Go! My sister persuaded a sceptical me, and I'm glad she did.

The avatars are mostly life-like. After a few seconds, my brain convinced me Agnetha, Anni-Frid,
Bjorn and Benny were on stage in front of me.

You can also see the avatars on large screens. There
were a couple of moments when the avatars looked slightly vacant but this is nit picking.

The live band were brilliant, the light show was incredible and 99.9% of the audience were there for a good time.
