Tesco delivery pass pretty much useless now

Is anyone finding the same? Tesco used to have loads of slots and loads of products. I weighed it up and decided I was happy to pay slightly over the odds for the convenience.

However, it's got worse and worse. About 50% of what I want is unavailable, and the products that are available are 50% more expensive in some cases.

Is this the case with all the supermarkets now (I've been in a Tesco bubble for a few years so might be shocked to find they're all the same)? I'm considering giving up the delivery pass and getting back in to Aldi.

I have not had a problem getting a slot within 48 hours with Tesco for 18 months or so, and they pretty much have everything I want. Subs are rare. My experience of them is far better than with Ocado (don't believe my address is real, so won't let me set up an account), Asda (delivered shopping to wrong address several times) and Sainsbury's (always early! Then complain that I'm not in).

Never had any problems with things out of stock and prices are no more expensive than anywhere else

@keepingwarm5623 and @Sweetmotherofallthatisholyabov thanks for the tips about the favourites, it hadn't considered the changes to size etc, I wish they just write Discontinued rather than unavailable. I've cleared all favourites and will start again.
Unfortunately I've just auto enrolled for another 6 month pass so I've got to just make the most of it.

It must be a regional thing because I never have any problems getting delivery slots (have been known to book a Saturday slot 2 days prior) and only occasionally have missing or subbed items, and even then it's only 1 or 2 things

I gave up on tesco as the slots were all booked up so far in advance.

No problems at all with Tesco, the odd substitution or out of stock but I think the Delivery Saver is fantastic value for money.

I have delivery saver, purchased through my clubcard points, otherwise I don’t think I would bother. I book my weekly deliveries 2 weeks in advance and get the times and date I want. I would say 90% of the things ordered have changed in size and weight over the past year, so I update my favourites regularly. When I go into Tesco there are lots of products missing and not so as much choice, they certainly seem to be having problems getting things.
