What's an aeropress like?

Are they any good? We have a decent ish coffee machine but I'm trying (desperately!) To find something for my husband for his birthday and something coffee related might be good!

The paper filters can be rinsed in cold water and used a couple of times to save waste. I get about 5 cups out of one filter.

I love mine and also take it away with me every time. I re-use my paper filters a lot more than five times by washing them - sometimes until they've actually torn/got a hole in. I think this would be a lovely present and would give it to him with a selection of wonderful coffees. And if budget allows, a Sage The Dose Pro coffee grinder (I couldn't be bothered with a manual one although they are recommended). And I use the inverted method.

Love ours. The coffee is proper hot and strong. With a bit of Ethiopian ground coffee. Really good.
