Eufy or Roomba?

I hate housework hoovering and have been toying with the idea of getting a robohoover.

Do they cope with pet hair ok? Which one should I buy?

Honestly, I don't like either.

I’ve had both and there’s nothing in it, tbh.
But I am changing current Eufy’s name to Aoife in light of this thread!

Eufy! I know a lot of people who got Roombas but then swapped for a Eufy! I love mine, we call her Enid and she works with Alexa. So I can just say "Alexa ask Enid to clean" (you have to tell her Alexa to ASK Enid, otherwise she'll refuse). She's good for day to day cleaning but I do find we still have to go around with the big hoover every so often to do a deeper clean.

Eufy is much cheaper to buy new parts for (you occasionally need to replace the filters and front brushes), easier to clean out, and someone said Eufy was more robust than her Roomba but I'm not sure if that was true for other people.

Nah, every second hoover at the shopping mall is called Henry or Henrietta these days. I liked Romy, bit unique isn't it

Just bought an eufy, my carpets are always so clean!

I have a Neato, my dd has a Eufy, she and I agree that my Neato is better so I'd say Neato.

I want one so much! We have a three storey house, do I need to worry about the stairs? And there are lots of other brands on Amazon... are the others dodgy?

I can confirm that Eufys are fairly robust.
Mine has thrown himself downstairs four times so far.
We call him Lemming 😀

They have drop sensors so shouldn't fall down the stairs, they should stop at the edge and turn around. I've never tested mine though, I keep meaning to.

We had one that broke after two years so bought a Roomba costing about 3 times as much.
Hate the damn thing- it keeps getting tangled up - much more than Eufy ever did and it keeps needing it's bits cleaned and shouting at me in a foreign land< the language thing could be my fault >

I really really wouldn’t recommend the roomba. I spent quite a bit on one that is self cleaning and supposed to be brilliant. Have cats and dogs too and like @rookiemere said you spend more time untangling it and fixing it then using it. Everytime I tried it wouldn’t work properly and it was incredibly annoying and am now just stuck with it 😫
