Eufy or Roomba?

I hate housework hoovering and have been toying with the idea of getting a robohoover.

Do they cope with pet hair ok? Which one should I buy?

I've had a roomba and I've got a eufy and a prosenic.

The eufy is rubbish compared to the other two.

The prosenic is fantastic.

Honestly, I don't like either.

How about
Aoife
Effie
Eva/Eve/Evie
Romy
Ruby

you win !

I have a eufy and love it , i have never had a roomba so cant compare but i would replace my current one with another eufy without a second thought .

Mine is the 11s which is one of the most basic models , it doesn't have Wi-Fi and can not be programmed to only do certain rooms but that's fine with me.

@ColmanFlamingo they all have sensors on them that prevent them from flinging themselves downstairs , the only time mine ( and I suspect others) has is if there is a big contrast in light , its fine with lights but bright sun seems to scare them , i think mine is part vampire ! so if there is bright sun on the stairs he may jump , also if the front ( where the sensor is ) gets dusty or obscured ( by you sticking googly eyes on ) he cant see where he is going.
Mine has jumped 3 times in as many years and survived without a scratch

I call our Roomba Reufy Blush. It's because we keep wanting to call it Eufy.

Aquamarine1029 · 30/07/2022 19:32

I love my eufy and will never be without one again. I wouldn't get a Roomba because they're far too overpriced IMO.

Brilliant thanks, I was going to ask which would be a good basic model but you've beaten me to it.

Luckily I don't have to worry about stairs if they are flinging themselves into the void regularly lol

I love how so many of you have named your robohoovers Grin

I haven't named mine but I do still call him Eufy and talk to him quite often especially if he's getting under my feet they do always seem to want to vacuum exactly where you're stood 😂

Well in the Eufy app, giving it a name is part of the setting up process 🤣

I have a self-emptying i7 Roomba named Pig.
I love him.
What ever you get, pay the extra for a self emptying. One clean of my small flat will fill the tank (sometimes multiple times). All of them have tiny tanks. A self emptying one, means you don't need to empty it each time its used. Changing the bag is far easier, far less messy and far less often then emptying the tank. Yes the bags cost money, but not a lot considering how long they last, but they are revolutionary.
