@ErrolTheDragon I really don't understand how you could have worked this out in so few guesses.

Can you talk me through the processes that you went through to identify the key word?

Very slow on the uptake with this one, I actually gave up on it yesterday and came back to it this morning. I solved today's Redactle (#143) in 73 guesses with an accuracy of 46.58%.

BIWI - Some luck. I can't remember now exactly which words I filled in, but I got that part of it was pretty obviously something to do with the Bible, patterns which looked like chapter and verse references. There was another section which had a [x].A. which looked like it might be 'L.A. Somethings'... that felt like something very different. The main thing though was noticing ...... and the ..... ; I guessed 'beauty' and 'beast' and it got not just that but also the line above ........ Beauty. Sleeping seemed to fit. So then had to figures out something common to those stories which might also crop up in the Bible and in some other undefined but maybe very different context. I think the beauty and the beast reference pointed to him being turned into a beast rather than the overall plot. 'Spell' might have worked there but didn't mesh with biblical usage. So... sat on my hands thinking wtf wtf... ohhhh.

Got second word on second guess, then got to 30 and googled. Don't think I would have got it.

I boobed and read it as 3 words not 2. Got the 2nd word fairly quickly then wasted ages trying to find what fitted in with a small middle word. Once I realised it was one big word I got there. Eventually

Letter counting really helped.

I googled at 95 guesses having exhausted my supply of related words. 63.16% accuracy

@Breathmiller there are a few pictures upthread showing how to do it.

I can't get that feature @Breathmiller - it doesn't work on a laptop, and I can't do it on my phone either! But I agree with you, it's a really useful feature. Oh that it worked for me!
