Egg , chips and beans here just like the Royal family!

A roast chicken with some air fried potatoes and a side salad :)

Cereal

We had tuna jacket potatoes and salad.

Poached smoked haddock with a little cheese sauce on top, new potatoes, some broccoli that looks like a cross between tenderstem and purple sprouting - can’t remember the name.
Some luscious fat black English cherries for afters.

No idea. Someone come and cook for me please

Fish fingers (fancy tempura ones) with grilled courgettes, new potatoes and sweet chilli sauce, blackberry cobbler.

Veggie lasagne.

Not had egg and chips for AGES (it may well be tomorrow's tea).

Chunky cod fishfingers, baked potato, carrots, peas and green beans.

A sort of ploughman's type thing: homemade potato salad, hard boiled eggs (boiled them all in the same pan to save vital pennies), ham, cheese, pickle etc. Just forgot to buy any tomatoes but can't be arsed to walk back up to the shop.

Cherries and watermelon for pud.

I did pan roasted chicken breasts

Butter and shallot carrot
Gravy

It was amazing

Sausage and fennel spaghetti with loads of veggies and lentils in the sauce. Topped with liberal amounts of parmesan, lovely 😋

Wholewheat spaghetti with tomato, chilli, lemon, garlic, anchovies and kale. Garlic bread!

Chicken & nduja pasta

Chicken pie with a few baby potatoes, some dauphinoise, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower, followed by chocolate cheesecake with extra thick double cream (Sunday's dessert we were too full to contemplate yesterday).

I always thought you couldn't boil anything else with eggs. Have I been wasting the gas all these years boiling them separately

We had kedgeree!

I'm doing an egg and bacon salad, but I'm tired so not starting it for at least another hour.

It's got fab reviews though I'm not sure...

basically baby new potatoes, baked haloumi, green beans/asparagus or mange tout, roasted peppers & roasted whatever veg is left in the fridge piled on a plate & topped with salad leaves & dressing & a dollop of anything like coleslaw, hummus etc that's left in the fridge too.

It's a good one for using up scraps from the fridge after the weekend

I'd never heard of this. The eggs are in shells and the spuds still had skins on so I didn't even think about it.

PS Kedgeree! Sounds fab. Do you have a recipe? I've been meaning to make this for ages.

DH and DS are making pizza tonight. Sausage and pepperoni, hopefully.
