Hosting a dinner party to celebrate some big news - just put the champagne into the fridge!

Going to the gym when I finish work at 5. Come home, walk the dog. Make something quick and easy for dinner. Shower. PJs. Carry on watching Witness no 3 which I started last night and is good so far.

Tonight, I am visiting an elderly relative in a care home with my dog, then walking my dog and then having a lovely pizza. Probably a film later on!

@NellesVilla Okay. By "childless" I just meant those who don't have children (I wasn't concerned with the reasons for that for the purposes of this post).

Not single but I live alone; tonight I’m at work until 2200 ish, then I’ll go home to squash the sofa in front of the tv for a bit before bed!

About to head out to hear a friend’s band in a pub but would much prefer a night in…

Having a couple of glasses of wine while listening to Nick Cave. Then watering the garden, and dicking around on mumsnet while eating supper...Then a bit of TV before bed.

Been out all day (lunching), going to clip the hedge now it’s cooler

House sitting for a friend right now. I need to go get some food in for the weekend, do the cat litter, water the garden. Then pack and go to bed early as I leave at 6am tomorrow on a work day trip, back at 10pm. I need an early night.

A glass of wine and the television. Quite happy

Housework because potential new man is visiting tomorrow. It's not really more housework than i'd be doing over the weekend anyway. He's mostly going to have to take me as I am. I'm not setting up false expectations of frequent dusting or anything. I'm mostly wondering what clothes to wear.

Originally I had thought I was on-call this weekend, so had nothing planned, but I misread the rota*, and it's next week.

Watering the garden then sitting in the garden with a glass of wine and my iPad listening to 6 Music. Happy days!

Hope everyone’s having fun! I got a lovely takeout, watched The OA and made my flat smell nice.

Just finishing my fourth beer in a busy local bar. Then I'm off home for whisky and bed. My tablet and phone keep me entertained. It's so gratifying to see small, independent bars like this (and the one over the road) doing well.

Relaxing after a long week at work. Nice food in front of the TV, whilst online. Chat on the phone with a very old friend. Then reading at bedtime.

Late night shopping, then sofa/TV/cuddle my dog.
