What's your holiday drink of choice?

Thanks to a very successful packing thread last night I'm all packed and ready for our flight 2m. My nails are painted, suitcases are locked and weighed!

We're off to a Turkey in a 5 star All Inclusive Plus hotel (massive treat - honeymoon and 2 years holidays all rolled in)

My usual drink of choice is a G&T but I get 'acid tonic throat' after a couple

So - inspire me, what would you order?

Oh - I hate lager, wine and whiskey!

Aperol spritz or Campari spritz

I like to have pink G&T with a small pink straw in a recycling bin filled with water when the weather hits 40

Campari? That's never been on my list - what does it taste of? 🍸

Pina Colada or Aperol Spritz

Campari is lovely. It's very bitter. Tastes like aperol. Lots of lovely cocktails you can make with it.

What's a tintoretto verano??

Gin, Sprite and a slice of cucumber. Or a Pina colada. Also love and ice cold beer on the way back from the beach.

Tinto verano is a Spanish drink. Red wine and lemonade with lots of ice. Tinto is Spanish for red wine. Verano means summer. It's similar to sangria but not as boozy and fruity.

I drink mulled wine at all times of year. My girl friends (mumsnetters) can't resist a bottle of Pinot Grigio every night, but they have this on the holidays too

Shot of tequila mixed with ginger beer and fresh lime juice, on ice, so yummy and refreshing! And you don't get very drunk or hungover on it as you can ask for a v small amount of tequila in it!
Or Pina Colada, vodka soda lime, watermelon daiquiri 🍉

I also go for the local beers, G&T and you could also try your gin with cloudy lemonade or lemon Fanta.

They call it a pomada in Menorca or possibly all of Spain but it might be an alternative if you want to avoid tonic.

I prefer gin and lemonade to tonic. Much nicer to drink. All inclusive I find my favourite cocktail after trying a few then stick to that.

Vodka and lemon fanta is hard to beat on a hot day by the pool in my humble opinion

alcoholic drink is pina colada or non alcoholic is lime cordial and soda water

Pina colada or a frozen margarita here too.

With dinner- many many (shared!) jugs of sangria.

Very very occasionally a cosmopolitan.

Cheap as chips girl here but my favourite holiday drink has to be local peach schnapps and Fanta lemon (with crushed ice ideally).

Truly refreshing and deliciously simple!
