Erm...how can I explain this to my dentist?

I have a chipped tooth. It doesn't cause me problems but when I'm getting 'intimate' with my husband it's scratched his penis badly enough to draw blood.

My dentist tells me that there's no need to do anything with it as the nerve is dead so it can't cause me pain so how the hell do I explain why I need it sorted?

Just say it scratches your tongue when eating?

Tell him you’ve made your tongue bleed with it?

Tell him it catches on your tongue every now and then and makes it bleed?

Say it catches on your tongue. It annoys you. Food gets caught in it. You want it done for cosmetic reasons.

There are plenty of reasons you could give other than “it catches on my husband’s penis”.

If you're embarrassed to say it scratched your husband's penis, could you say it was some bloke at the bus stop?

Just say it catches your tongue. Im a dental nurse and if physically die if you mentioned anything about BJs. A patient once said he TMJ issues were worsened by sexual activities and I don't know how I survived that appointment 😂

It doesn’t technically have to have scratched anyone’s penis, if you’re not happy and you’re prepared to pay for a cap then ask him to cap it.

Tell him you don't like the look of it/it scratches your tongue. You're the patient, you're paying, so it's your choice

You don't have to mention tongues or penis just say you'd like it fixed because it's chipped.

Honestly I'd just tell the dentist. They ate saying its not necessary you believe it is and its your tooth! If you say that I guarantee they'll fix it quickly!! Do let us know 😀
