I’ve been growing some roses and am really enjoying the smell. Do you have any rose smelling favourite products ?

I love rose perfumes and DH is always trying new ones for me. Best ever is Bulgari Rose Essentielle.
Next best, Le Labo.
Penhaligons is gross - don't bother.

If you want super budget I agree with PP that the much maligned Bayliss and Harding do a gorgeous rose & geranium that smells really good. DS2 is a trainee perfumer and he asked what the gorgeous scent was when I used it.

I shall work my way through some of them.
Ive got the So Soft deodorant inspired by a similar thread in lock down that had me buying some French soaps.

I love the smell of roses. I’ve had various products bought for me over the years from Body Shop to Jo Malone. I find the jo Malone a bit strong though. The only issue I have with wearing rose products is I get accused of smelling like a granny.

its Aldi Hotel collection No.35 Scarlett rose it’s smells the same as Jo Malone Red Rose. I also love Aldi Lacura healthy glow rose oil, and there ebony rose face cream . But unfortunately with ALDI you can only get these things some of the time I know the rose oil is in the shop at the moment, but I’m nearly out of the perfume and face cream and can’t get hopefully they will be in special buys soon.

It's fabulous and smells like rose Turkish delight to my nose.

Agree about Lush Rose Jam. I also like the Fresh Rose range especially the face mask with real rose petals in it.

It really is lovely, also the beauty balm lasts forever .

Next do Velvet Rose, which is a bit deeper and duskier than my favourite Yardley English Rose. I'm going to have to find the Aldi ones. I love rose scented and flavoured things. :)

They do a perfect knock off of Portrait of a Lady (another brilliant but very expensive rose) and another of Tom Ford’s Rose Pryke. PP is amazing. I have the real POAL and can’t tell the difference.

While I’m here, can anyone recommend a “dirty” rose scent? My beloved Miller Harris Rose en Noir has been discontinued. 🥲

Tried the Dr Organic rose toner as a cheaper alternative and it was horrible. Stinks of witch hazel with a faint whiff of rose.

My favourite rose perfume right now is the Fresh Rose Morning (I don't work for them I promise!). It's not cheap but I am currently using the rollerball version which is about £20 and I'm finding it is lasting quite a while as I'm not spraying it about all over the shop.
