I’ve been growing some roses and am really enjoying the smell. Do you have any rose smelling favourite products ?

I like the Dr Haushka rose day and night creams, and Jo Malone Red Roses cologne. None of them approach the scent of a big bush of Rambling Rector in full bloom, though!

Jo Malone Red Roses has to be the most pure rose perfume out there. I’d love to hear of a similar (cheaper!) version of it.

I’d love the smell of roses as my dad always gives me a rose when I visit him. (Several times a week) he loves them and has so many in his garden. He is always giving them to people.
one time I had to meet him at a medical appointment, neither of us had been there before and when I arrived, I could see roses left on the receptionists counter, I said ‘I know my dad is here already’ and she pointed up the stairs. He is such a lovely man, I would love something with a rose scent as it makes me really happy.

BlueSkyWarmSea · 19/07/2022 22:07

Neal's Yard Rose facial oil is lovely.

PassesAtGlasses · 19/07/2022 22:10

Diptyque rose is lovely for candles and diffusers, they have it in a perfume as well. My long long time favourite perfume is Stella, a gorgeous jammy rose. Been wearing it nearly every day for almost 20 years

^I've used the PP knock-off of Red Roses myself (though it's a little strong for me) and it's a very good knock-off.

PP do some amazing products. Their version of Pomegranate Noir and nectarine and honey are identical, and I wear their Tom Ford Portofino Neroli every day.

That’s so very lovely, made me smile reading that 😊

My favourite was Stella McCartney Stella but looking it’s sadly been discontinued, which is a shame, I still have a bottle left that I will now use sparingly.

Aldi do 2 rose fragrance, Velvety Rose & Scarlett Rose.

Great ad for Jo Malone Red Roses- I really want the cologne now! And most of the other products mentioned here. Need to get the JM one on payday now!

I had a lovely rose hand cream in a beauty calendar once- from the brand apothecary or something similar?
