Am I sweating or weeing myself?

When I go out for a walk, I’ve noticed my underwear becomes very wet. I went out for a 30 min walk just now and my knickers are soaked. Is it the heat causing sweating or am I leaking?

I should add - I can’t tell ! I don’t feel it coming out of me if it’s wee.

I'd say it's sweat

jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey · 17/07/2022 19:37

Not to be blunt but does it smell of urine?

Sweat

RicherThanYew · 17/07/2022 19:38

If it's recent I'd say sweat.

Whatsthatspookynoise · 17/07/2022 19:39

Sweat! This keeps happening to me as well.

Whiskers4 · 17/07/2022 19:41

If this has been very recent, ie last week or two, I'd say it could be down to weather, in terms of perspiration and also most of us are drinking a lot more. Although some of the liquid will be lost in perspiration, I've noticed myself having a mini leak (not usual for me) and I think it's down to the fact I'm drinking so much.

GordonBennetttt · 17/07/2022 19:42

Bet it's sweat.

CallmeMrsPricklepants · 17/07/2022 19:43

If I'm ovulating my CM can run like a tap. It's vile.

PinkBuffalo · 17/07/2022 19:45

I bet it is sweat I am sometimes waking up at night very sweaty and thinking “I hope this is sweat!” But my shorts if I am sitting outside at the moment are getting damp

resuwen · 17/07/2022 19:46

Sweat.

starrynight21 · 17/07/2022 19:48

I live in a hot climate and I'd bet that this is sweat. It's normal where I live for women to use panty liners all the time for that reason - they stop your underwear from getting wet from sweat.

Thack · 17/07/2022 20:00

Agree, probably sweat!
If I know the office will be hot, I use a roll on deodorant along my groin (along the bikini line) to stop the wet. Might be worth you trying to prove/disprove.

HelloSpringIveMissedYou · 17/07/2022 20:02

Sweat, I've reached an age where if I go for a walk in warm weather I have to wear a panty liner.

Soubriquet · 17/07/2022 20:02

Sweat and/or discharge

dementedpixie · 17/07/2022 20:03

Even hoovering makes my undercarriage sweat. I'm just sweaty in that area

Whadda · 17/07/2022 20:08

Interesting first post.

Going to see if MNHQ can check this one out, but are people really happy answering a question like this online knowing it can be fodder for anyone?

Curiousturle · 17/07/2022 20:08

CallmeMrsPricklepants what’s CM? Discharge?

starrynight21 it went right through my panty liner this evening 😕

Thack good tip, I will give it a go!

Whadda by all means. I’m a long time poster who has name changed.

onemouseplace · 17/07/2022 20:09

Sweat. I have to change my pants 2 or 3 times a day in this weather as they are damp.

Isaidnoalready · 17/07/2022 20:13

Sweat goes from your legline in pee starts in the middle and goes outwards towards the legline

Is there any tips to stop the sweat? It's annoying

forlornlorna1 · 17/07/2022 20:16

Yeah sweat.

My ever amusing 14 year old calls it swamp ass

Curiousturle · 17/07/2022 20:26

Ok thanks all this is reassuring to know it’s not just me and I’m not necessarily leaking ! Will keep on eye on things after the heatwave and start my kegel exercises again !

cushioncovers · 17/07/2022 20:29

Yep I'd say sweat. You don't notice it when it's happening but then when you go to the toilet and pull your knickers down the sweat gets cold and that's when you notice it as your underwear feels wet and horrible when you pull it back up.

DeathMetalMum · 17/07/2022 20:30

Sweat. I use a stick antiperspirant along my bikini line when it's warm, there's sometimes a bit of dampness on a vv hot day, or if I do a lot of exercise. If I don't use it then I need to change my pants a few times a day.
