To be fair 8 is a disaster for Errol, it’s like us mere mortals getting it in 200.

Today is one of the subjects I (used to) know a bit about. The length of the topic name helps!

Yesterday - my guesses were things like 'ships' from the 'aboard', but then somewhere there was an odd reference to 'down' which looked like it meant feathers ... I'm fond of eider ducks and had some sort of memory of Nordic types harvesting their down, I think. Once the page had been edited to change the start from the ridiculous xxxxxxx is... to xxxxxxx were (historical, plural) the connections fell into place.

Tuesdays ...there was a sentence which looked like it would be 'founded in....', first guess founded, so then tried to think of 10 letter things that could be founded and 'university' was the first which occurred to me. There were location clues - the subtle typography size of the box indicating a non Latin script, and a few xx- which are often Al- something so likely Arabic. 'Cairo' was a lucky 5 letter guess!
