Woke up this morning and KNEW the correct word.

Which was line 3 and was wrong...

I also quite like ones like today that need more thought, like rhubarbfairy said, it's more like a puzzle. Worldle is more of a luck game than I first thought, especially in choosing your first word and even subsequent choices, but I still enjoy it a lot!

happy today. Wouldn’t have said it was an American word particularly.

One of starter words is an anagram of todays word... wish I had used it today!

I think of it more as a Spanish word but I get the American (cowboy) connotation too.

I don't think it's a word used much in uk although I've seen it in a very specific context. Dictionary says its north American. Another word with same first and second letters is much more commonly used in uk where this one would be used in US.

I've just looked up the online dictionary definition and it doesn't mean any of those things to me. So I looked up what it does mean to me and that totally does exist so no idea why it's not included in the definitions.

I'll update tomorrow if I remember to explain!

I am familiar with the word as it is well-known for people with my hobby, but its very American, not used in this country very often.

Solution’s origin isn’t US English, but I think it’s used there more than anywhere.
it was a well-known US car once.

@GiantKitten - I don’t always use that word. I vary it a bit. Was chatting to some friends this morning about starter words and I said this word was one I sometimes used as as it was still in my head I used it today. In fact I first used another word and then changed my mind before I pressed enter!

isn’t it a specific type of something to eat? That’s the only context I know it in.

That's where I know it from too. But I opted for an anagram that is drink related for my line 3 guess 🤣
