So unusual, I got it in three today for the first time ever after two lucky guess words gave me 4 of the letters. Didn’t think I’d be right though.

I have only ever heard that word used in relation to drugs I was convinced I had it on the third so the correct answer was only by elimination.

super quick to do as it had to be that, but no idea what it means.

I had a complete failure on this one today (as mentioned on the last thread). I was hoping to improve on my previous streak, which I was very close to doing boo!

@WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles I've been playing for 163 days, with 3 failures so far. My average is a 4, but I'm trying to get more 2's and 3's!

My average is a 5 by a country mile

It seems (as a newbie/novice) that there seems to be an element of "luck" in choosing the first word. Do people use the same starter word or different one each day? This feels a bit like "I'll have an A please Bob" for anyone my age but I try to have a couple of different vowels and use a new word each day.

My average was three, but in the last few weeks it’s been overtaken by 4. It’s either got harder or I’ve got more crap!
I’ve only failed once in about 120 goes, but lost my streak this week by forgetting to do it. So annoying!

I try to use a different word most days, just to make it more fun.

@BruceAndNosh why did you have to bring that up! HOMER lost me my winning streak and sent me on a downward spiral for rest of week! 😭

I use the same starter word each day. I did have another one but then I'd kick myself if the other one would have been better.
And it's a word which has like 4 vowels on it
I also use a voweless as my second word so that I'm using valuable squares with letters I know exist in the answer
