Would you report someone for continuously driving around with no car tax or m.o.t?

Without going into loads of details, I’ve got nightmare neighbours who’ve lived near us for almost a year. There’s always something kicking off at their house, and one of the tenants drives his car like an idiot, by racing around, and so obviously has no regard for how his driving could impact others.
Because of the way he drives and parks his car where he likes, even if it’s on the path or over people’s driveways, I checked to see if the car is taxed, only to find out there’s been no tax or m.o.t on it for months.
Considering the car is being used every day, would you report it?

I have now yes, although on the website it doesn’t ask what time the vehicle can be seen on the road.
I”m wondering that if the vehicle isn’t even registered to the address given, will they even bother going to check it out, and if someone does check it out then the driver might be out in it so won’t be caught anyway. I can’t see the dvla repeatedly going to check.

I drove past a clamped car earlier with a big No Tax sign pasted on the windscreen.

I’m glad, why should we have to pay VED, pay for insurance and pay to keep our cars in a road worthy condition when idiots seem to think it is beneath them.

I agree, why is it ok for everyone else to pay but not them ‘entitled’ people.

Report to both council and police.
Council have to remove abandoned vehicles within 2 days.
And it's a nice easy target for the police.

Yes have reported 'abandoned' vehicles actually the belonged to someone dealing in bangers who lived round the corner who liked to take up loads of spaces.

I also reported someone for seriously dodgy parking, police came up had a look went away, came back 15 minutes later and booked it.

I’ve reported the no tax online, using the link given above, but unsure whether the DVLA would notify the police regarding the no m.o,t.
Mind you, I’m unsure if the DVLA will even act on the no tax!

Yes, I Did and the car was seized. The driver had no license, and therefore no insurance and when she cut dangerously in front of me and was speeding down a road in front of a school, I reported her.

Honesty report to local police too, even if it means walking into the station, and council too. Someone will act.

Google vehicle check tax or vehicle check m.o.t history, click on one of the links and enter the Reg number of the vehicle. You’ll be able to find out when the tax and m.o.t is due on the vehicle easily.
