They are both the same as far as I know. They seem to take turns at being easy or infuriating.

They use different word sets I think, Semantle is drawn from popular media/articles and cemantle has a wider range of words. That's my understanding anyway.

Cemantle seems to use more in the way of "could x word replace y word in a sentence online?" With higher scores the more similar sentences exist.
This can throw up some bizarre anomalies when the same sentence is repeated a lot online making it look like eg tapir is closely related to prince. The only online link I could find between those words on Sunday was that Prince Charles visited a tapir at a zoo once, but that story was on several outlets.

Semantle seems more synonym-y but has more spelling errors in the word list.

Sea of greens for me today. I got 999 about a hundred guesses ago and getting nowhere.

I'm the opposite. Took me ages to get a green, 700, have only got about 3 more greens, but no higher ones 😭

I think I have all the greens pretty much 😭

I have 57 greens and still no clue, just a general area.
