Finally got it from this having got 999 from an earlier clue. Thanks @keeperofthetrolls and @UselessTrees and @RoxieLoxy . The really annoying thing is I thought I'd put that in! I had the very similar word with a different ending about 100 words ago!

My first guess was 794 and I thought I was onto a winner but it ended up taking me to a different path. Then got 997 which I slightly misinterpreted as being a different word type.
