Well, we are still going! And still learning about subjects new and old!

As before, only rule is no spoilers!

OP posts:
Coord · 15/05/2022 18:25

146 guesses today, took a while to get to what the topic was.

Redcrayons · 15/05/2022 18:52

Got caught out on the plural/not plural thing, so had to google to find out I’d already got it.

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 160 guesses with an accuracy of 43.75%. Played at www.redactle.com/

DoorLion · 15/05/2022 18:53

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 36 guesses with an accuracy of 47.22%. Played at www.redactle.com/

No Googling , just an inference I made from a capitalised word, and then a weird leap from that which turned out to be very near the answer!

MoonriseKingdom · 15/05/2022 19:01

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 169 guesses with an accuracy of 43.79%. Played at www.redactle.com/

completely off the beaten track for ages then suddenly all made sense!

MoonriseKingdom · 15/05/2022 19:05

Does anyone else get excited for 5pm 😂
This is my favourite of all the word games

EatSleepReplete · 15/05/2022 19:12

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 96 guesses with an accuracy of 41.67%. Played at www.redactle.com/

ErrolTheDragon · 15/05/2022 19:13

Yes, it's more of a puzzle than just a 'word game'. Today I had to time my break from gardening so that I could get inside and clean up a bit and make a brew by 5pm.Grin

Yes, me! Thank you to whoever found and recommended this. I look forward to it every day now. Was very annoyed when I got Singapore in minutes, felt cheated of my post-dinner Redactle hour.

The flip side is that I dread the sciencey/mathsy ones as I know I'll be plugging away the next day on 300+ guesses, knowing it might be something I've never even heard of. I like the happy medium ones that take 100-ish guesses and are things, places, people.

Today's:
You solved it in 76 guesses
Your accuracy was 77.63%

Littlebelina · 15/05/2022 19:35

Getting precisely nowhere

LadyOfTheCanyon · 15/05/2022 19:39

I absolutely love this game but I have no finesse, I just fire out words until I get somewhere. With Semantle, I get annoyed if I take ages to find the word, but with Redactle Im happy to just pootle along untilI get it!

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 395 guesses with an accuracy of 32.15%. Played at www.redactle.com/

MrsLargeEmbodied · 15/05/2022 19:41

No finesse @LadyOfTheCanyon
i am going with that, another one who inputs so very many words!

Not too bad! Had no idea until I randomly guessed the first word...

Peckhampalace · 15/05/2022 20:56

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 104 guesses with an accuracy of 54.81%. Played at www.redactle.com/

Was convinced it was a completely different subject for about 20 guesses then slowly drifted in the right direction. No googling required.

wannabebetterwatchout · 15/05/2022 21:07

I guessed the second word (eventually) through a number of round the houses guesses! Then, not too many options to get the first! I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 60 guesses with an accuracy of 41.67%. Played at www.redactle.com/

DressingGownofDoom · 15/05/2022 21:11

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 162 guesses with an accuracy of 32.10%. Played at www.redactle.com/

AliasGrape · 15/05/2022 21:23

142 guesses so far and still not even a vague idea of the subject area.
I definitely have no finesse, I stick in just about every word I can think of that will definitely be in there (all the they / then / their types) and then just literally anything that pops into my head. I usually have at least a vague direction by now though, but not today.

L1ttledrummergirl · 15/05/2022 21:23

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 244 guesses with an accuracy of 45.49%. Played at www.redactle.com/

Bloody hell that was hard going. I thought I had tried that when in double digits except I confused my plural and singular.
I now know a lot more about that subject than I could ever want.

AuntieStella · 15/05/2022 21:33

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 389 guesses with an accuracy of 38.56%. Played at www.redactle.com/

Ooft that was a bit of a slog

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 15/05/2022 22:39

44 for me today

WheelofLife · 15/05/2022 22:46

218 guesses, 46.33% Was convinced it was something else and kept throwing all related words at it in spite of all evidence pointing to the contrary.

You peeps in the UK are lucky with your 5pm starts. 😀 I’m in Australia and get it pre dawn. I’ve lost entire days!

takingmytimeonmyride · 15/05/2022 23:28

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 192 guesses with an accuracy of 40.63%. Played at www.redactle.com/ I was around the right area for a while before I got it!

Cooroo · 16/05/2022 06:46

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 398 guesses with an accuracy of 38.44%.

As usual something appeared a few times and I got obsessed with trying to make the answer that. Shouldn't have taken that long.

MissedItByThisMuch · 16/05/2022 07:04

I solved today's Redactle (#39) in 75 guesses with an accuracy of 32.00%. Played at www.redactle.com/

Not one of my better efforts. A couple of early reveals sent me down completely the wrong path. Got the first word in the end by just entering random short words! 😂 Then second was pretty obvious.
