I solved Semantle #106 in 85 guesses with 1 hint. My first guess had a similarity of 14.55. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #16. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 38.41 (882/1000). semantle.com/

My early, cold guesses took me to a completely different place, resulting in 956, so when I was given the hint of 967 you can see why I was befuddled

So yesterday, when you all had 'visor' as the secret word, I had 'air'. No-one else here, or on the reddit thread, seems to have had that! Most confusing. Good job I realised and didn't start to try and give hints based on my secret word

I solved Semantle #106 in 35 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 26.61. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #10. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 35.51 (731/1000).

I had a bunch of higher greens but had ended up in a weird spiralling lower phase. Then bam!

My first semantle, and it took me 306 guesses! I would have got it sooner but I thought I had actually put the word that ended up being correct, further down the line. Hopefully practice will help! Well done all of you who got it in under 50 tries.

@TheLadyofShalott1 if you put a word in twice, it just surfaces the last time you did it, doesn’t add to your score, so always do it if you aren’t sure!
