I don't know how I got this from the greens I had!

I found the last couple of days' Semantles pretty straightforward and doable without clues. Today's was harder, was stuck on #834 for ages and still don't see why similar words were unnumbered.

That was a weird one today.
I started this morning and got a few greens which all seemed to be going in a certain direction, went out for the day, came back and suddenly seemed to be a totally different path (although I guess they’re both relevant, I just wouldn’t ever really use the target word in connection with the original path I thought it was.

@drspouse neither, it's a moving part of a technical 985

Interestingly, I was reading a blog earlier which said something along the lines of "you may think that X and a version of 985 that kind of has X attached are kinds of 985 but really, try harder".

Were they arguing that a 998 is not a type of 985? I'm no expert, but given where it goes, it's more a 985 than it is a 953.

Well, that was a bit rubbish. But tbf I didn’t get a green until guess 113. And that was the only green I had before guessing right. So in that regard it was pretty good. Don’t think I’ve ever guessed right with so few green! 😁
