Stuck on 998!

I'm too distracted today to do this properly. I'm away for the weekend and every so often I just stab in random words! It's not going well.

My top three greens are all hints and they all seems bonkers to me!

I was quite pleased with my nice round number of 100 guesses but looks like a lot of you were much quicker!

I know this is still a fairly low score but considering how directly related it is to one of my usual starting words, I’m annoyed it took me so long. Couldn’t get past 998 for ages.

Just looking I had every version of the word except the one with the correct ending 🙄

I have been stuck on the same path. Given up and used a hint, which is completely unconnected 🙄

Got it but only after hints which were unconnected to my previous greens.

I think I'll call time now, I used to enjoy Semantle but not any more :(
