Other than my first green being so generic it was no help, and my second one I thought it was an alternative meaning, it was quite quick today.

As DH and I do this separately every day I find it fascinating how differently we get to the answer and the connections that we each make that are totally different.

Today he had 999 and told me he could see no connection between it and the target. I came from a different path but would have had no trouble at all guessing it from that.

I was stuck on 994 for ages. Used a hint to get me to 995 and then got it in the next guess from there.

stuck on 994 for ages and explored many variations on that theme.

hint took me to 995 and after a few more guesses I hit the right one.
