Taken me all day, on and off. Needed a couple of hints and tips from here to get it.

I solved Semantle #117 in 142 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 11.85. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #46. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 11.94. semantle.com/

Nearly forgot to do it today. I’m glad I remembered, wasn’t too disheartening a day. The times when I need a million hints make me feel like an idiot!

This is not a nice track, but despite this many high greens I can't get it. Any of these useful? They seem to point two ways.

I've started playing todays game and got a green except it isn't green, it's grey. Anyone else had this happen?

No, perhaps it's a very low green so the bar is vast majority grey?

I had over a hundred of the green words by the time I got the word, and it's not an edifying list.

Got it at last. I see when you ask for a hint now it doesn't ask you if you are sure, you just get it. I pressed the hint button three times thinking it wasn't working!

When someone is 965 they are often 1000 before that, so 983 is a good clue. Hope that makes sense!
