Eating pesto out the jar. Delicious.

Mini cheddars dipped in coffee. So good but I get horrified faces when I do it in the office

NightmareSlashDelightful · 12/05/2022 11:26

<not a food one, sorry>

I have a loo brush next to every toilet in the flat.

And I drive a diesel SUV.

Make a cheese and marmite sandwich, no butter. Pour milk slowly over top of sandwich just enough to soak into bread. Top sandwich with roasted and salted cashew nuts.

Blast in microwave until cheese has melted.

Delicious.

How the feck did you discover this 🤣

Passanotherjaffacake · 12/05/2022 11:36

Fried mash potato (so it has a nice fried bit) and gravy. Esp when a bit poorly or feeling sad.

trebaco · 12/05/2022 11:42

Feeling much better now, there are some right fellow wrong'uns on Mumsnet 😂

Boil in the bag kippers for lunch. Fucking yum

Handyweatherstation · 12/05/2022 12:06

Vegemite and honey on toast. Don't dis it till you've tried it.

Nervina · 12/05/2022 12:17

Eating cereal dry. I would hate soggy cornflakes!

MsMiaWallace · 12/05/2022 12:20

Tinned mackerel on toast!

stuntbubbles · 12/05/2022 12:20

Supernoodles topped with cheap peanuts, lemon juice and hot sauce = pad Thai.

Currently sitting with my feet up on the sofa with my shoes on for a rebellious treat.

Pinklimey · 12/05/2022 12:21

I'm a Christian who adds bits I like from other religions into my belief system.

Mind you, nowadays it sometimes feels like being a Christian is an abomination in and of itself. 🤷🏽‍♀️

notagamer · 12/05/2022 09:51

Well I don’t drink and I don’t eat junk

and on mumsnet that is a stealth blast and I should be ashamed!

🙄

Eating pickled garlic straight from the jar. DH visibly cringes at this but tbh I'm not sure what else you're meant to do with it!

Titsywoo · 12/05/2022 12:27

BringBackCoffeeCreams · 12/05/2022 10:36

Currently in a sushi bar eating sushi with a knife and fork. My friend is horrified but I want to eat it not wear it.

You are supposed to put the whole thing in your mouth in one go

GeminiTwin · 12/05/2022 09:53

Instant noodles.

Boil them with their seasonings.

Drain all the water.

Add a generous handful of cheddar mix together so it's a melted stodgy mess.

Side of salad cream.

I do this. Also add a bit of pesto sometimes. No salad cream though.

I buy chicken thighs from KFC, pull all the meat off the bone and stick it all in a heavily buttered crusty roll with ketchup or mayo (mood dependent!)

Danikm151 · 12/05/2022 12:33

marmite and lemon curd sandwiches.
Dipping fries into milkshake

Peanut butter and cucumber sandwiches. I'm banned from eating them at work as the smell is apparently ungodly. Ungodly delicious, I say!

How did you discover this? Were you pregnant?
I can see the appeal. I used to like marmite and cucumber

As an aside @TheYearOfSmallThings I am intrigued by your username too

DinosaursEatMan · 12/05/2022 12:37

Dry cereal, adding milk is a complete abomination.

Eating peas straight from the freezer.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 12/05/2022 12:42

How did you discover this? Were you pregnant?

No! I have been eating peanut butter with everything since I was a child, and I brought peanut butter cucumber sandwiches to school with me for years. Peanut butter tomato sandwiches are even better but you need to make them and eat them immediately, so no good in a packed lunch.

Maryland chocolate chip cookies stuck together with peanut butter make an excellent accompaniment.

We've always shared food from plates especially when my DS was young. And swapped food around from plates. Even when eating out.

The DCats sit and sleep on the sofa and our beds because they are family.

Chip butties, oh my god!

Skinterior · 12/05/2022 12:44

Stem ginger straight out of the jar. And using the syrup it lives in in everything.

Still love tuna and sweetcorn pasta ala student days

MarpleFan · 12/05/2022 12:44

Marmite and jam on toast
Chicken super noodles with peas and masses of cheese
Sausages with marmalade
Very, very buttery mashed potatoes with sweetcorn mixed in and loads of ketchup

This is about to be my lunch - thank you!

DinosaursEatMan · 12/05/2022 12:46

@TheYearOfSmallThings

I love peanut butter and cucumber sandwiches too.

Handyweatherstation · 12/05/2022 12:59

@MarpleFan, try it with honey, it's lovely.

That surely is the oddest thing ever.
