Low calorie but delicious sweet treats

I've successfully lost over a stone and am now trying to maintain it. I wanted a cookie today and M&S was the nearest place. A cookie was 344 calories which seemed a lot!

Does anyone have any secret low calorie treats they've discovered? My go-to at home is an Oreo as it's only 52 calories and satisfies my sweet tooth.

You can get the Skinny bars from iceland and b&m the biscoff ones are lovely

Shodan · 04/05/2022 17:59

Meringue nests! Incredibly sweet and only about 50 calories for a small one

Oh god I recommended these a few months ago and got absolutely ripped apart for it Grin SUGAR is BAD and POISON and people on diets SHOULD NEVER eat it etc etc.

Still eat them tho...👹

Unsweetened Greek yogurt - the really thick stuff - with chopped up fruit and a massive squirt of Skinny Syrup in maple flavour. Not as good as a peanut chunky kitkat obvs - but still v nice!

A French Fancy is only 107 calories. If you have the willpower to stop at one.

Nairns low sugar biscuits - they have different flavours inc ginger, choc chip,
choc orange. About 45 calories. Perfect with a cup of tea!

This is delicious and counts as one of your 5 a day. There are some other good recipes on their website.

A Solero has 99 calories. You can get 3 dupes from Aldi for about 85p and Tesco do the same dupes too

VoluptuousFingers · 04/05/2022 18:54

A box of Redcurrant Puffs from M&S is my go to, they’re lovely and only 35 calories each so I don’t feel bad having a couple in the evening with a cuppa.

NoNameIdeas · 04/05/2022 18:57

A Mars ice cream bar is 136 calories!

Flockameanie · 04/05/2022 19:14

Curly Wurly
2-finger kit kat
mini bag of maltesers
a few squares of dark choc
solero
strawberry split

Favouritefruits · 04/05/2022 19:20

Cadbury Wispa mousse only 88cal

cadbury little bars only 97Cal

FlibbertyGibbitt · 04/05/2022 19:25

Iced Gems … don’t know how many calories 🤷‍♀️

Summersdreaming · 04/05/2022 19:26

Jelly pots
Angel delight (with red or green milk)
Light rice pudding with a blob of jam in
Low cal plain yoghurt with a blob of honey
Good old digestive biscuit
Sweets are better value calorie wise than chocolate so skittles, squishums etc you can have a palmful for 100/150 cal

Summersdreaming · 04/05/2022 19:27

And chocolate mousse!

CottonSock · 04/05/2022 19:27

I like smarties ice cream cones 109

Most of my others are mentioned above except gherkins! They are practically zero.

MsChatterbox · 04/05/2022 19:31

You say you like mint choc.. After 8s are 35 calories each!!

AmberLynn1536 · 04/05/2022 19:33

Trifle sponge fingers, 25 calories each from Tesco.

Iamclearlyamug · 04/05/2022 19:35

@Shodan those party poopers at it again 🤷‍♀️😂 all about calorie deficit anyway!

TheFormidableMrsC · 04/05/2022 19:37

I like Skinny Whips that come in various flavours. Under 100 cals each. Also Curly Wurly or Finger of Fudge

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 04/05/2022 19:46

There’s about 65 calories in a Freddo and 30 in a Mini. Milk.

fuckoffImcounting · 04/05/2022 19:49

Fiber One popcorn bars - 90 cals

myyellowcar · 04/05/2022 19:55

Avoid things marketed as ‘skinny’ and go for treat size ‘real’ chocolates, Freddos, curly wurlys, ice creams like Soleros or Mars ice creams.

Things like bakery cookies have mega calories so my sympathies OP.

buckeejit · 04/05/2022 17:54

A pink & white mallow wafer is 50 calories but too sweet so if you carefully lift the lid & smear a wee bit of peanut butter under it, is a lovely big treat for 70 cals approx

Skip the peanut butter and put the wafer in the microwave for 5-10 seconds. It's puffs up and is lovely and gooey.

I do this as well and love it.

I'll be really boring and suggest freezing grapes. Try it, it's delicious.
