Thanks for trying @Useranon1 I used a couple of hints (first was 732 - helpful! So I actually googled 799 when I got the hint as I didn't even recognise it, my greens were so far away!)

I solved Semantle #95 in 108 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 8.50. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #55. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 70.88 (999/1000). semantle.com/

There are loads of red herrings amongst the greens!

Maybe a 998 can get it from a 1000?

Well, finally got round to Semantle this evening....
My first green was absolutely no use whatsoever!

3rd guess was 951 so got me on the right track quickly! Which I'm pleased about, considering I somehow forgot to do todays before realising when I got into bed at 22:30 and of course just HAD to do it

Very strange greens and why is 783 not higher up.

Took 137, my first green was a very random guess that sent off on a weird tangent, as far as I can see it has nothing to do with it and was 850 something, ah well.
