I've looked through the 1000. There are some massive red herrings in there. My sympathies to anyone who powered through them to the right answer.

The hint was to move me on from 850, where I was completely stuck. Hint puzzled me but pushed me into the right lines. Still don't understand 850 and it's relations though.
