I luckily got there quickly with a logical sequence of words, just the more serious basic meaning of the word rather than getting bogged down its more trivial derived usages, one of which looks to dominate the high ranking words.

I'm stuck, so will have to come back to it later.

It probably doesn't help that I've got 333 and 334, and I suspect that's quite an interference pattern for Brits!!

classic case of forgetting there can be two different opposite things

It’s a general word. Honestly I wish I’d known as I wasted a lot of time reading.
you might hear it on the news at the moment in a couple of different contexts.

Are these going to get me anywhere? I just can't get higher.

I think the key thing with today’s word is that it IS used in the same way in the UK and US in one context, but probably more often in the US, whereas all the words you might expect to be green from other contexts of it aren’t really there, or aren’t very high.
